Light Up Your Dog's Safety: Embark Illuminate Reflective Dog Collar

Kindle Stickboy: Mine is nearly a year old and is still very reflective. The outer covering is torn pretty well so i am going to get another. I want high visibility if my dog ever goes astray at night with a road nearby....and to track in the pitch black.
Great buy. My dog is worth the fair cost for these.
Update: Since my collars are getting torn up I got new ones. SO much brighter having nee collars, I fogot how bright they should be.
I suggest replacing every 6 mos., but that is just my suggestion based on durability and the material getting dirty.
Maybe they can be washed, i will know soon.
Good luck, these are worth the price.

Kerrie: It was supposed to be one size fits all, I adopted a dog which we sadly had to rehome, the collar didn't even fit him, it was too big, it was a very nice collar and seemed sturdy enough. Hopefully the foster person he went to continues to use it so it wasn't a waste of money.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I bought 2 of these for my labradors and was initially really pleased with the quality and comfort, especially for the low price. However they did not last long. The outer material is weak and as soon as it takes a nick, it rapidly starts peeling and gets worse and worse each day. The photo is at the start of the damage, the other collar I had went in the bin long ago as it just looked tatty. If you always walk your dogs on the lead then I’d recommend but if you have lively dogs who like to explore off lead and are likely to run through woodland etc then I would not recommend

Cory Malecki: Not sure about the durability yet but this thing is super reflective. It shines like it is battery powered when I shine a light on it. Super impressed with that. I have a chocolate lab and she is invisible after dark. Not anymore! So far a great investment for the price. Other plus is that its not cotton. Pup loves to swim so this should dry fast and not collect hair like a cotton collar.

JeanJean: After reading through all the reviews and looking at a ton of other collars this was our top pick.
We have an 80lb almost all black dog and wanted a reflective collar so he could be safe and seen. This collar shines so bright and super reflective!
Many reviews say that the mesh that covers the collar rips easily but have not had an issue so far. We have two new adopted pups...one 45lbs and the other 80lbs (he is wearing this collar) they are both grown puppies and have been wanting to play all day, every day (jumping, playing, wrestling). So far no rips or tears in the mesh of the collar.
It does need a bit of breaking in as it's a bit stiff but all good. Easy to take on and off and the buckle is plastic but sturdy.
Definatly reccomended for anyone who needs their pup to be seen in the dark.
Update:
It's been a month or so and unfortunately we are having to replace this collar. The mesh has ripped in multiple places and it looks terrible. I will say our pups are quite active and like to wrestle and play a lot so no doubt this is what caused the damage to the collar. The collar itself is still very sturdy, good clasp and super reflective so I'm sad we have to...

Naomi Collett: Having a dark coloured dog and with the nights drawing in we wanted to make sure Spencer could be seen at night. After searching the internet and reading many reviews we decided to give the Embark Illuminate Reflective Dog Collar a try - We are definately not dissappointed! Super reflective even with a weak light on it. Other dog walkers have commented on how good it is.
We agree with other reviews that a couple of other colours (green & red) in the range would be good - I would Not have brought the pink collar if I had a female dog!

Notes-for your reference my dog is a 60 lb pit mix, average sized with a neck of about 18 inches. I bought the large. (medium could have worked too though)
Pros- very reflective, lives up to its name. Catches light from everywhere, that's so it always looks bright
- strong and durable, but lightweight
-the color is really pretty and has earned him many compliments
-you can also purchase the matching leash.
-so far its been out in the rain, snow, sleet, and dirt and it still looks good and DOESN'T SMELL LIKE WET STINKY OLDMAN DOG 🐶 ☺
-put in the wash anyway and let it air dry and it looks like new.
-collar was really easy to adjust. I bought the large and adjusted down to just about its smallest setting for his neck. It could fit right up to some big ol mastiff of a dog for sure. I could have purchased the medium and adjusted the other way, but I like having that almost double layer of collar.
