t wayman: These are heavy and appear to be very durable. Great appearance. I'm using these on a 1500lb Kei truck and do not see any reason for them to not be total overkill for my needs

Brian Mullins: I have a large diameter, braided tow strap which has a 75,000 pound tow rating. I needed large shackles like these to hook the strap eyelets to the frame of a vehicle needing towing. These shackles have a durable coat of paint. The threads work smoothly. I like the the rubber protection strip on the shackle. Comes with rubber washers. The diameter of the shackle and connecting shaft pin are of adequate thickness for my needs.

PhillipPhillip: I got a rails installed in my truck and ordered a hitch for it, it fit perfectly but unfortunately the holes were so small it was nearly impossible to get the gold hook in there. I was able to do it and managed for the last couple months but every time the truck came back and I needed to remove it, it was such a hassle and so difficult for me to get it out and back in. Finally I saw a comment about these on someone’s review (with the same hitch) and quickly purchased one. Honestly the best investment ever, it was so easy to set it up and now my driver is on the road pulling 15,000lbs worth of loads with it with no issues at all. It’s working perfectly fine so far, literally a life saver
