SS: It does what it states it does. The smell when they fry is gross but I don’t care. We don’t want bugs flying around. Planning on getting a second one.

Frank: My kitchen was over-run by fruit flies, even after cleaning, they always showed up for every meal.

Introduced them to my new friend, zappy, and gave them an electrifrying handshake!

Zapped over 25 fruit flies the first night, 15 the next and day 3 they were all gone!

Works best to leave on at night with dim lights or no lights at all.

Claudia: Super sturdy products. And it works fantastically. Almost instantly i would say. Super bright, it is a bit of an eye sore cuz there are no lower covers where the flies die and land.

Web Vixen: We used to call these bug zappers redneck televisions when I was little. I got one to put in my kitchen because the Flies are so bad that I'm lord of the flies. Make that lady of the flies. I really hope somebody else benefits from this, I'm so sick of flies!

Michael Dinero: OK, no joke! This thing is golden. Within minutes of plugging it in, I started hearing loud pops! You can eventually tune out the noise. I thought I had fruit flies and tried the whole apple cider vinegar thing, but these flies were only attracted to my LED smart bulbs. So I decided to get this product. Easy to clean and the flies die within seconds. Since these are indoor, I've attached them to smart plugs and they have a regular schedule for turning on and off. Wake up in the morning to see my place is fly free. This zapper does work even if you have drain flies. Best investment I've ever made!

L. Wong: It is very effective in zapping the flying bugs. They are drawn to it without any smelly odor or messy liquid. Cleaning the tray is easy too, like dried crumbs. Just that it took me awhile to find replacement bulb, not that I need it right away. Wish there were a link to buy the replacement bulb.

TJ Matsuba: This zapper has all but eliminated bugs in the house down to maybe 1 or 2 gnats a week and I live out in the country! Also, I used it for an unintended purpose by hanging it outside for an hour (this model not slated for outdoor use btw) and used it to go after yellowjackets ahead of my pest guy showing up. It was me very designed to get swarmedike that and I had to carefully clean it off 5 times at a distance with a broom, but this little device decimated over 600 wasps in an hour. Oh also, do not try that at home. But for indoor use great product for thr money!

Jan MarieJan Marie: I bought one for home as we had a bunch of flies this summer and I did not want to use any chemicals. It works like magic. It makes a very loud snapping sound, no matter how small the bug is, but it is highly effective. At my office, someone must have left some fruit out somewhere, and although I was not able to find the source, we had serious gnat infestation. I brought this zapper into the office and over a few days, tons of gnats committed suicide in the zapper. I left it on all weekend and while they are highly attracted to these bulbs even in daylight, when there is no other light source, they are drawn to it even more. After the weekend, we have no more live bugs in the office. I do not like to use chemicals and my backup plan was to set off an insect bomb if the zapper did not work but it was not necessary. This thing is the best one I have every tried and I have tried a few other models.

LLynn: Works as it should. I got 2 of them and happy we did. Only time this makes any noise is when it zaps the pesty flying insect. Works for fruit flies and mosquitos in the house too. Not sure about outdoors but great inside. Be sure to place it at least shoulder height or higher for the best effect. Easy to clean.
