Goody: Just moved so all my tools are in storage and I needed a TQ wrench, and decided on this brand due to the price and number of good review. If you need a budget TQ wrench that works, this is what you need. It comes calibrated, as all TQ wrenches should, but due to the type of TQ wrench (manual clicker) this one should not be used below 20% as the readings are unreliable. Interestingly, after reading the manual I didn’t see any mention of not using the lower 20% due to accuracy issues, but the calibration paper shows the shop only tested the accuracy down to 20%, so you gotta read between the lines I guess. The one downside…the number markings are painted as opposed to engraved, so they will wear over time making the TQ unusable, but that’s after many, many uses, so this TQ wrench is good for part-time usage but not a professional shop.

Kbird: for a non pro who just likes to know things are done right , and only used a few times a year this is very nice and comes with the blow molded storage case as well. (might be just fine for a professional mechanic too but I can't comment on that not being one.)

Amazon Customer: I like this better than the more expensive brands. I've used it every day for a couple months now and I'm sure it will outlive me. It has a very solid feel to it and it's very easy to read. I'll probably buy the 3/8"version now just because.

C Mc: I needed this to torque several bolts to 220 ft/lbs. Easy to use, easy to set, holds the desired setting well, solid grip and about the right length for the leverage to apply torque to around 200 ft/lbs. Included a "calibration" document that shows several actual readings at various settings, all of which were close to the setting specified. Good value for the occasional need for a torque wrench of this size and capability.

DMan: I finally replaced my old torque wrench and boy I'm glad I did. I just changed the rear bearing assemblies in my 2013 MKX. I needed to torque the bearing bolts and axle nut to specs. Although this torque wrench only supports up to 250 ft/lbs, its close and a bit more was all I needed using a breaker bar.

I really appreciate the length this torque wrench. I like the locking mechanism to keep the setting from moving. I also like the hard plastic case it comes in. All in all, for the money: this is a great deal. It looks, feels, and works as a professional torque wrench should.
