Robin P.: The one I replaced was very dirty. That is good, it means it picked out all that crap from the air where I live. These are direct replacements for the manufacturer and should perform well. When possible I try to buy the manufacturers replacements. Air purifiers are one of the products where this should be done. It is a quality product and fit tightly.

Angela: Great little filters. They do say they are washable…. If you are sleep deprived like myself, before you do something without thinking, I will let you know that you don’t stick the whole thing in water. It’s made of cardboard. You can peel the grey filter piece off, it’s Velcro’d on. Wash that separate. I was a little disappointed, we bought some a while ago but a day later they price went up and they never sent us the ones we bought at the previous price. Instead 4 weeks later they refunded us and we had to buy new ones at almost double the price. Bummer. But we like our filter, so we bought them. We live in the Okanagan where (besides this year apparently) it’s always smokey. These have been great!
10/22 Edit to add: as the price seems to be rapidly increasing. This may be the last time we buy them. After that we're going to look at one that lasts longer and for a bigger space. It use to be more affordable to space out the cost instead of putting the money up front for something longer lasting. But that just doesn't seem to be the case anymore. If your budget only allows for spaced out cost, this may be your best bet but in the end you will be paying...

Amazon Customer: Levoit air filter is great. October 2020, 3 pack air filters were $35 CAD each for total order of $110. I just paid $124 for 2 filters. They basically lasted a year and the filters work great. So I've gone from paying $100/year for filters (good value, easy choice, filter size is perfect for 10x10 room) to $180 per year for filters for a SINGLE ROOM. If they get any more expensive I would just switch to an IQAIR pro (which I currently have in my master bedroom), which can filter 10 times the square footage for $300/year. Levoit needs to be careful 3 replacement filters should not cost more than $100-120/year for a small room.

Marco macchioneMarco macchione: The picture is me cleaning one side with the vacuum. Clearly it works well. I believe it takes 75 percent of the small dust out of the main floor of the house. Even notice the furnace fliter was cleaner. Make sure they are the real fliters. Had Amazon send me knockoffs that didn't even say where they came from lol so yeah pricey fliters how ever they do work.
