Leviton SmartlockPro Slim GFCI Tamper-Resistant Receptacle with Self-Test, Guidelight, and LED Indicator - GFNL2-W

Batman2017: I installed this on the wall above my kitchen counter. The built in night light is bright enough that you can see where you are going without any other lights on, but is not too bright. As far as ease of installation, it installs like any other GFCI receptacle, so if you know how to do that properly, you are all set with this unit. It is dimensionally that same as a standard GFCI receptacle.
I put 3 stars for "weatherproof", because this can be used outdoors, but, as any other receptacle, requires a weather proof box and cover. This would make the night light feature rather irrelevant.

Erin Gaterell: This was easy to install and works pretty well. The light isn’t as bright as a night light, but it frees up the plug we used for the night light for other use and still gives off enough light for late night visibility.

Shelena/Darrel: We bought these for both of our bathrooms as we needed the plugs for other things and not night lights. These are super bright and work fantastic. If you’re on the ledge about whether or not you want to install these, do….well worth it.

Howard Juno: I like that it's rugged, durable and the night-
light is a good feature. Strongly dislike the
security ("tamper-proof") feature, that makes it very difficult to insert a plug.
Makes it more dangerous, in my opinion, if it requires 50 pounds of pressure to cram a plug in, makes plugs mangled and bent.
I'm just a hapless consumer and i really need to be protected from myself, and my toddlers from themselves..
So, i'll do my best in the future to find receptacles that are NOT tamper-proof, because these are annoying, as fine as they are!

AlanAlan: In the bathroom of the camper there is an outlet next to the sink that we've had a night light in for a while. It was always flickering because it couldn't decided how bright it needed to be and stuck out a bit and if you've been in a camper, you know it's a tight fit already. I decided to replace it with a name brand outlet with night light built in. The process was easy because I was replacing a GFCI outlet already. This is a white light which I don't love but it's not overly bright where you'll be seeing halos in your vision after using the bathroom. It doesn't flicker either.

JERICO: Nice looking upgrade from an older standard Leviton receptacle. Perfect replacement fit, and easy to install. Guidelight provides adequate low cool lighting, and makes for a nice detailed touch to our bathroom.

Alice WinterAlice Winter: Good outlet and night light. I agree with another reviewer that the color temperature of the night light should be warm, not cold bluish white light. Most other plug-in night lights are warm.

Also, I did not realize until I installed it that the LED indicator is always on to indicate that the outlet is active and working properly. You can see this in the product images and photos for other reviews. On this outlet it is a white LED, and when it is tested by pressing the button, the light turns off. According to the instructions, the LED will turn red (solid or flashing) when there is a problem or the outlet needs to be replaced. On my other GFCI outlets (Legrand), it’s reversed. The indicator light is off when the outlet is working properly, and it only turns on (red) when the outlet is tripped or tested (solid on) or needs to be replaced (flashing). I prefer the latter. The always-on LED is distracting in my opinion.

Plus, the test and reset buttons are easier to press on the Legrand. With the Leviton, I had to really sink my finger on the button, and I have skinny fingers. If you have large fingers, you might need a screwdriver or some other object to press the...
