Dave TDave T: I installed this GFCI to improve the safety of an ungrounded circuit in an older home. A GFCI breaker is available for my panel, but it would have cost ten times more.
I installed it at the start of the circuit as a panel attachment. The blank face was ideal to preserve its function as a safety device. A GFCI outlet would have worked, but I didn't want to increase the device count on the circuit.
As usual, this Leviton product is of high quality and comes with great instructions.

TZ from London, ON: Our jacuzzi tub has one of these GFCIs on its supply circuit. The original one was 17 years old, and the plastic was chipping, so I bought this as a replacement. The swap out was straightforward, EXCEPT that on the previous switch, the LOAD terminals were above the LINE terminals, while on the new switch, the terminal locations are REVERSED (line above load). If you do not understand what the previous sentence means, then you should probably hire an electrician to install this, rather than DIYing it!

Curtis: This was above my electrical panels. This one was for a Bain Ultra bathtub. The tub stopped working as the original one died and wouldn’t reset. The one that I had said it would last approximately 10 years well it was 12. I was glad to find this ordered it and the tub works again. I highly recommend it.

Bella: We were pleased with our order. We needed it right away. The earliest unit was in an off-white color.
We needed a white receptacle. I added the extra cost for shipping and was happy that we received it earlier than expected. The receptacle fit right in the box we used. The guys were pleased with the installation. So far so good.

Tek: using this on a jetted tub. The weird thing about this is that from everything I can tell, this is a normal every day GFI that just doesn't have the plug holes in the plastic. I understand that many OEMs make their parts universal, but seriously, when you open the package and it has the yellow sticker over the load side screws, you just have to ask yourself... did they even THINK about the possibility of NOT having a load side connected?
install was easy enough I suppose.
One thing I would really like to see more defined information about is ... if you have a switched circuit (jetted tub), do you put the switch up or down stream from the GFI ? The instructions suggest that either way is fine, but it would be nice to see a "best practice".
4 stars because the thing is HUGE, and takes up a LOT of space in the box. If you have a crowded box with 12ga wire and such, you might have to do some squishing to cram it in there.
