Pryderi: After seeing some YouTube videos that seemed to suggest that this brand of alcohol inks resisted fading better than others when used in resin, I went ahead and bought them. After a bunch of experimentation, now, including painting a bunch of swatches of these and just blasting them for ages under both of the UV curing lamps I have (one LED, one fluorescent), they do withstand the UV lamps quite well, well enough that I can use it between layers of UV resin, and really, after blasting multiple layers with UV, the colors are still okay, which is great! And certainly not true of even some resin-specific colorants, which all but disappear after one round under the lamp.

However, some of the colors are definitely not what they look like on the packaging. The orange, for example, is quite simply put, just brown. I tried diluting it, I tried adding some yellow, thinking maybe it was just a little heavy on the red and too concentrated. Nope, it's just brown. It's pretty much just a slightly 'warmer' version of the brown. Is "peach red' supposed to be anything but neon magenta? It seems like a misnomer. The green is okay, but does tend to separate out into having some yellow streaks...

Leona Ryan: Best inks I've ever used, that being said the only downside is opening of the bottles what a mess 😳 they could come up with a better way not a push pin. The ink goes ever where. But the colors are bright so beautiful 😍

Pirate Maven: I love this ink. The colors are very concentrated and vibrant like the description indicates, that's the truth and not just a marketing phrase. I use them for painting so saying "a little goes a long way" is an understatement. The descriptor doesn't state the type of base alcohol the inks are made with - isopropyl or ethyl. This is an important factor for various reasons depending on how the ink is used. The colors are varying degrees of transparency. Lighter colors are more transparent than the dark. The dark colors are still transparent enough to see the media beneath when spread or stroked. Each bottle comes in sturdy individually sealed plastic that doesn't leak. One of the bottles in my shipment leaked and it was contained by the wrapper, so it didn't get all over the others in the box. You do have to make a hole in the nozzle as it is sealed as well. The bottle size is smaller at 10 mil than the other 3 major brands (14 mil and 20 mil), but as this ink is so highly concentrated, I would use less of it, therefore the bottle size is not an issue for me. All in all I am very pleased with this ink.
