ZWolfhiem: I have done several drawings with this ink and I love it 100% would recommend for more experienced artists I have the sketch comic and artist nibs from the same brand and they all work amazingly well with this ink it is so smooth and lays down really well the only thing is on some nibs it dries really fast but nothing a little soap and water can’t fix great product and will buy more once I need some dip ink lasts almost forever so it’s gonna be a while

Zuska: This is great quality inc, it is very smooth and easy to use. This is a very dark color black. But it works very well. It lasts a long time and flows from my calligraphy pen perfectly. I do recommend this ink

ScrubScrub: The box came a little beat up but the ink itself is sealed so it wasn't a big issue. It's really nice straight from the bottle but I mixed it with a bit of water and it still keeps its color. I used it on cardstock for a project but I think it'll be really good on watercolor paper. Doesn't smear either and it dries pretty quickly!

Christopher PearsonChristopher Pearson: Hands down best India ink I've used and can't live without now. I can use on cheap Walmart painting canvas and boards and it doesn't ball up or bleed like the other inks on treated surfaces. You can use this on most surfaces and it dries FAST and has a deep deep black hue that doesn't require a second pass to darken. Thick...sexy....AND when I accidentally get water on my work I can pay it dry and the ink tends to not move or leak. I can also use this OVER AND ON TOP OF satin and acrylic paints. I cant use anything else because haven't found anything remotely at good.

Lesley Kathleen Ayre: This ink is extremly black. It also will bleed if not used on paper it is compatible with. Lined school paper is not a good match at all. But it has solid pigment. Good beginner ink.

SeaghanSeaghan: I bought this ink when I started an online course for drawing subjects in Ink. The teacher recommended any ink that had "Carbon Black" in it, and specifically Liquitex Acrylic Carbon Black. I saw this Speedball product that is also a Carbon Black so I thought I'd try in and compare the two.
First off, I like the shape of the container. It has a wide base and narrower opening, so clumsy me is less likely to accidentally knock it over than the Liquitex.
Both inks deliver a true black, as you can seen in my photos for comparison. the cupcake was inked with Speedball Super-black and the Avocado with Liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink
Both deliver a nice line and the Speedball black seems to dry a little faster than the Liquitex, however, therein lies the problem, and hence the loss of a half star in my rating.
When drawing with a fine nib pen, pausing to ponder your next line or even to answer someone's yes or now question causes the ink to stop flowing. Clean the nib, re-dip and continue was the only solution I could find. Not even trying to get it flowing on a scrap piece of paper would work.
The second loss of a half star came with the lid of the container. The ink...

Wess CoatesWess Coates: As i said in the title, very pleasant to use. I bought a dip pen with a gift card i got for Christmas(first picture), and as well as 10 extra nibs, it came with it's own ink. That ink was not great. It took several dips before it took to the pen, and the mouth of the bottle was so small, you can't see how much ink is left. That said, this ink is the complete opposite. I dip once, it takes to the pen. It flows really nicely, and the mouth of the bottle is nice and wide which not only let's me see how much is in there, but also lets me see how deep I've dipped my pen into it. And as i also mentioned in my title, i highly recommend it. Nice price too.
