wow_wow_wow: I’ve installed these in my Cyberpower UPS one year ago. Until yesterday, the UPS has only gone on battery once or twice for less than 5 minutes each time. Had a power outage yesterday lasting several hours. The UPS reported 3+ hours of life but these batteries only carried the small load for about 20 minutes before dying unexpectedly.

I suspect they’re defective or poor quality. Won’t buy again.

Name unimportant: This APC brand battery is an exact replacement for the Leoch DJW12-9.0 T2 9Ah battery. Leoch no longer manufactures this battery. I purchased it to replace the Leoch battery which lasted for over five years in my CyberPower 1000PFCLCD UPS. As another reviewer noted, it was sent in the manufacturer's box without an outer shipping box or protective padding, so it arrived slightly damaged with the battery prongs bent downward out of position. Fortunately, the rest of the battery was unharmed. That's not a problem with the battery itself, but the seller who doesn't know how to properly pack the battery for shipment. I tested the battery for voltage and it had a charge of 12.84 vdc, which means it was fresh and ready for use, but I charged it overnight anyway before attaching the UPS to the computer. It installed without any problem and worked perfectly. How long it lasts remains to be seen, but I was willing to pay for this rather than chance a lesser quality battery, many of which are half the price. It seems that all the UPS batteries today are made in Viet Nam, so it's possible that they are all the same, but I don't like to gamble.
