B. Trimble: Installed this to replace a useless fan switch that was supposed to activate based on humidity. This one looks a lot nicer and has the perfect functionality for a bathroom letting you easily specify a time.

The switch action doesn't feel as nice as a Lutron Maestro but it's fine. The one tiny, tiny nit is that the switch has wires coming out of it so connecting them to the power takes up more space in the junction box than switches that take the wires directly.

Anthony: The media could not be loaded.  These are great timer switches. They work as expected and I have had no issues with them.

When I was looking for a timer switch, I didn't find any that I liked. Most had numbers for buttons that you had to press. I wanted one big switch that would remember what the last timer setting was and the ability to change the timer setting if needed. After a lot of searching I came across this timer. It was exactly what I was looking for. I got two of them installed in my bathroom. One controls the vanity light and the other controls the exhaust fan.

One feature that I didn't know about is that the timer light will flash to notify you that the current block of time is about done and will switch to the next set. For example, If it was set to the longest time of 60 minutes, it will start to flash in 20 minutes and then the light next to the 40 minute button will light. After another 20 minutes it will flash and then the light for the 20 minute button will light. Then lastly after 10 minutes it will flash and the light for the 10 minute button will light.

John H.: I was looking for a timer that could not be set to stay on. A timer for a bathroom fan (that also includes a light) that could not be left on all night long in my downstairs AirBnB. Guests would turn it on and just leave it on. The noise of the fan can be herd upstairs and is annoying all night long. Power consumption and fan life are also a consideration. This switch meets my requirements as it can not be left on all options result in it turning off. There are also 4 timing options that can be selected, 10-20-40-60 min. By pressing its corresponding button. A large paddle (decora style). Can be also used to turn on and off the timer using the last selected timing option. LED light shows which timing function is selected. The large paddle switch has an LED at the top of it to show the timer is activated. For me this controls a ceiling fan with light fixture and a second ceiling 2 bulb fixture. A 4 light fixture over the sink has a separate switch that does not turn off, so the fan light going off prematurely is not a serious problem.
The big box stores didn’t have this unit features and were higher in price also.
