Paul64: I am always impressed how Lego can assemble something with great functionality and be so simple at the same time. Taking Mario and sliding him across a platform all while slowly dropping the Thwomp enemy. I also have a bit of bias towards the main enemy in this set. I like the design of the character. Lego really captured its look. I also like how the bad guy plays like it does in the games. One of my favorite sets in the series. I would recommend this as a part of a boss or for a final boss level build with other lava based sets of the Lego Super Mario series.

David L: My daughter really love those lego :) she asks a new set at every birthday&Christmas as gift. A little expansive but I prefer to pay for quality, these toys will last for long.

person: it is a fun set for lego mario (you get him in the starter set so get that first) to collect coins with! there are two lava bubble enemies to jump on, a skull raft too ride over the lava, and a thwomp enemy that will try to knock mario off the raft! if mario can dodge the thwomp, he can jump on it to earn coins!

Gadget: I bought this for my 6 year old son, he absolutely loved it! This LEGO Super Mario series has the instructions in an app. Thie Thwomp drop expansion set is a must have with the LEGO Super Mario Bowser's Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set. The box contain 393- Piece Set. Thwomp and 2 Lava Bubbles Figures,plus a pole for the the Thwomp to slide down. This set is fun to play with and very interactive. Highly recommend for kids who love legos or Mario Bros.
