Let’s be honest about Legos- adults are the actual assembly personnel, but the enjoyment that my nephew gets out of it is worth it. I also ended up assembling the Milennium Falcon and THAT one nearly ended me, but my nephew loves that one too. BTW, I credit IKEA with my ability to assemble anything Lego!

I like this set (and who doesn't like Star Wars Lego sets) due to the variation in colors as most Lego X-Wing Sets are mostly white with slight color accents whereas this set has the blazing orange colors that make up the back half. I like the selection of minifigs that come with the set as well.

I love the X-Wing Fighter! It is very very cool! I like the moving parts, such as the shooting projectiles, and especially the switch to move the wings in and out of an X. It is a little hard to build at first, but I was able to follow the instructions and complete it all by myself. It think this would be a good toy for kids 8 years and older. If you like LEGOS, this is for you.

set goes together well, interesting to see that the build steps are very similar across almost all of the x-wing sets that have come out. love the orange and how it looks like an arrow when viewed from above, makes it look speedy. character models are all top notch, hair pieces are great and i love poes helmet. they are getting so good at doing these minifig parts.
