vanilla: A favorite, durable toy for our kids. Only downside is it's a bit pricey and the airplane tower is not the best design--it's hard for little hands to get together and the slide is always falling off. But still a favorite, and great for building skills and imaginative play.

Janice Nincao: Duplo at its best! We have the train and construction site set already. This has different elements (slide, plane, turning control tower) so you're not just adding a few new blocks. Worth the money. Great gift for my 2 yo, and his 6 yo brother loves playing with it too :D

Chiquita BiancaChiquita Bianca: For Christmas we decided to start getting our 16 month old son Lego Duplo sets and set up a large Lego table (made out of Foremost modular cubes/shelving with Lego Duplo building bases glued to the wood) so he can have his little Lego "town." Naturally we had to add an airport, I chose this one over the other popular Lego Duplo Airport (with the red airplane) because we liked the tower/luggage slide on this one and because the other kit comes with a Lego vehicle and we already have a ton of those.
The Lego Duplo kits are designed for toddlers that are just getting started with Legos before moving on to the sets with smaller pieces or more complex designs. Although this kit only has 29 total pieces, you really have enough there to keep a toddler entertained for a bit. You have an airplane that's easy to open up and add passengers to, you have the tower that turns and has a door and a slide, and then you have 3 Lego people. Overall we are happy with our purchase, my son loves it and the item arrived exactly as described.
