Sandy R: Sounds good. Plays easy. Doesn't stay tuned too well but perfect for small children. I've played guitar for 36 years and I actually enjoy playing on it! Straight neck and intonation is good.
Had to send the first one back. It was used, scratched up and dirty. Probably just the fault of the Amazon warehouse not being careful with resending returns without inspecting first I'm sure.

Amazon Customer: It’s nice for the money but not a toy. It’s a functional little guitar for low cost. My 7 year old daughter loves it. The strings aren’t expensive and so far require a lot of tuning and hoping that settles down with time.

Bronson Ortiz: I wasn’t expecting too much for the price. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an instrument I wasn’t sure my son was going to have any interest in. And being that he’s left-handed it would be hard to pass it on to someone else. But for the price it is pretty decent. At first I was a little bit disappointed and thought it was really just a toy masquerading as a real guitar. It is not. If you try to tune it to standard E tuning with the strings it comes with you are going to be disappointed. They are going to be too loose and sound really low and dull and not stay in tune. I tried tightening them to tune them an octave higher and broke a string (luckily before I broke the guitar) however it does come with an extra set of strings so I replaced it, and instead tuned it to A tuning (which I believe is what is intended for this type of small guitar) and it sounded a lot better, it actually sounded pretty decent. But being that I bought it hoping he would be able to use it with the Yousician program we have on our computer, it would not work, Since your guitar has to be turned into standard E tuning. Nqt: My grandson adores his gift. It's just the right size for him to learn. His Dad plays guitar and my grandson often tried to use his dads' guitar to play. Now he can enjoy and learn from his Dad as well. Great little investment.
