Get your pup the perfect collar with Dogline Leather Collar.Mel: It is a rolled leather collar which is what I was looking for for my dog. It helps to stop messing their fur up around the neck. It is softer and feels padded which I did not expect. The ones I usually get are stiff leather. Only issue I have is the padding makes it a little harder to slide thru the buckle. Overall a nice collar which is doing what its supposed to. I have not checked for colour fastness of the dye.

E. Pierce: Went with groomer's recommendation for a round leather colar on our other dog. With this dog, too, his 1/2 inch flat nylon was matting and breaking the fur around this chihuahua/dashound mix. Pet stores only carried a thick inflexible leather in brown, black or red and way too large for this little guy's neck. I am amazed with this wonderful purchase. Not only is it a fun bright turquoise color, it is soft yet very sturdy. Using it now for many months, it is as bright and good looking as when I first bought it. The description had stated the softest leather ever. No kidding, soft yet holding up very well. No more matted or broken coat at the neck.

Crystal: This collar fits perfect and is true to its size. It fits my chihuahua Maltese dog perfectly. He weighs 6 pounds and is rather small. It's perfect for preventing matts since he has Maltese hair which tangles so quickly. It also makes him look sharp being red

Purchased for my cat.
Looks great on, fits really well.
Anyone who's ever had a collar on their cat knows that when they scratch with their back claws, they tend to ruin their collars.
My cat has worn this collar for several months now and it still looks like it's brand new.

The brown collar shipped quickly. The sizing is true. It does have a slight stretch to it but not enough to slip her neck. The collar was true to the images. The rolled style prevents matting of the fur.
I am a little concerned about the strength of the metal buckle. Also, the end of the collar feeds through the hoop making it hard to attach a leash for a large dog.
I would recommend this for dogs that do not pull or lunge because of the findings.

I've owned this collar for a few months now.
Before this My dog had never worn a collar but we moved to a house with a yard and I was afraid she could get out so, although she's microchipped, I though it was time for a tag.
The collar is a very soft leather and extremely light. It serves as a great everyday collar and for potty break walks, it's held up really well.
I measured my dog's neck at 10" but with her hair I needed something closer to 12". I received the 10-13" collar today and the second to last is the perfect fit for it to be loose but to not be pulled over her head.
She blew her coat while wearing the collar and it really didn't make her mat more.
She has white hair around her neck and there has been no bleeding of the color even when splashing around water puddles.
This collar is well worth the price, I couldn't be happier!

Our bird retriever, Cash, received his new Dogline soft padded rolled round collar yesterday. I also purchased its matching rolled leather Dogline leash in orange. Beautiful dog management products; both of them.
Boykin Spaniels sport fine chocolate-color coats and delicate skin. I love how soft and supple this collar is made. I've been searching for a beautiful rolled leather collar for Cash for nearly two months! And the color against Cash's chocolate coat is a total throw back to Hermes' branding: orange and brown. Very eye-catching.
To find this collar AND its matching "show" leash was a worthy purchase. The collar is soft against Cash's neck, doesn't impede his other collars and its a joy to see on Cash.
My husband said, yesterday, upon this collar's arrival, "Cash, your mother has found more good-looking necklaces for you to wear!" Yes, Mother did find a goodie here! And now, I'm thinking about ordering more attractive "necklaces" from Dogline for Cash. Good looking product for our good looking, hard working dog.

C. Sullivan:
I dunno why but rolled leather collars are SO HARD to find these days. I love them, though -- great for shaggy hair (no pulling/matting!) but also I don't know a better collar for training. With flat leather or cloth, the wide width seems to dull a dog's sensation so they can comfortably pull as hard as they like.
But rolled leather is strong and makes a much thinner restraint so Fido really feels it when he lunges or runs ahead. It's padded, of course -- I'm not trying to hurt the dog!!! I just want him to be mindful that he's on a tether and it's beneficial for him to keep an eye on me.
So: big fan of rolled leather collars, here! The colors on these are brilliant, I really love the neon lime green against my dog's white fur, very cheerful!
One issue for me, though, has been sizing. Or, rather, stretching. The first collar I purchased was just a teeny bit loose on the smallest setting, but since my dog is a puppy I figured she'd quickly grow into it. Instead, within a week the leather had stretched so much she could easily squirm out of it so I purchased a second collar, one size down.
That collar fit perfectly right in the middle of...

I ordered this for my long haired sheltie mix because I'd heard that rolled collars are the way to go for long haired breeds. I thought the blue would look nice against his black fur so I bought this one. It looks great on him. I tend to use a harness to walk my dog, so I just wanted a collar for looks and to hold his identification tag. This color is perfect for that plus it's soft, flexible, and lightweight. (It's probably not good for walking unless you have a small breed, since it's not extremely sturdy). It sounds funny, but he seriously seems to enjoy wearing it! My other dog was jealous ;) Since I liked this collar so much I just ordered one in purple for my Great Dane so she can enjoy hers too.
Update: I got one for my Great Dane and I have to add that the larger size is plenty sturdy and fine for walking on a leash. These collars are great!

ParisJennifer: It’s a good collar. Size is accurate. Dog likes it. I think it may stretch with continued wear.
