TM: The illustrations and contents of the book is lovely. The history and origin of the cocktails are a cool, as it doesn’t feel like a recipe book, but a light read instead. The extra tips on how to host a cocktail party and how to prepare for one makes hosting a party so easy without need to stand behind the bar the entire time. However, the quality of the binding is so poor, I received the book with many loose pages that weren’t even glued into the book. So if you are gifting this to someone like I did, look out for that.

Courtney Reed: The drinks in this book are delicious and easy to make. I love that the drinks are sorted by alcohol so that if I am low or out of a particular drink I can look through the book and find drinks based on what I have.

Tori Lee: I got this as a Christmas gift for my sister in law who wanted to learn more about mixology, as well as pairing this with some cocktail mixers and tools this was the perfect gift! I was actually surprised at the size of the book as it is rather small but when I read through it myself I really enjoyed the recipes & writing style! As soon as she got back from all of the holiday travel she tried out a recipe and really enjoyed it! I think it is a great book & gift for the starting mixologist!

Shannon Stone: Good range of recipes and tips, but no pictures. Most cocktails are simple enough to make but still wow guests. I also like the mocktails for the drivers and T total people. But I have given three stars because of the smell which really bothers me. It stinks of incense for some reason. From what I can tell I bought this book directly from Amazon rather than a third party. I have never had a book smell like this and makes me suspicious that this came second hand or stored somewhere where they burn incense. Might be a blip or not bother many people but it is a scent I really dislike. It also came bent in the corner, either from packaging or sold like that. So it doesn't look new.

Lauren: Got this for a friend who always calls me on how to mix something. I wrote some notes for different ways to make the same drink. I would say the only thing I would change would be a note spot in the book. Great for newbies.
