Rick07: I bought it to measure all the RF frequencies with the computer & TV router & also the mobile phones.
I've not found a ghost yet but I'm not sure I want to.........well not in my house.

douglas ray: Well, my life may not have been in immediate danger but, after seeing a video of a guy cruising around and measuring the output from cell towers, I bought this unit. I checked my (cheap Walmart-Chinese) microwave oven first, and as expected, it was putting out unsafe levels of rf 10 ft.away! Next I checked my cell phone, no major concerns there. Then when I tested my household wifi (cable modem) I couldn't believe the results! Off the chart, constant peaks of radiation anywhere within 20 ft.! NICE! I finally have an explanation for the excessive swelling in my ankles and lower legs I would get from a weekend of sitting at my computer with the wifi under my desk! My chins looked like they were sunburned! No telling what it did to the rest of my body? I surmised this affliction was because of my screen time and sedentary behavior at 68 yrs. old. This had been going on for months and eventually got to where it wouldn't go away (or heal during a week of minimal use). I never considered my cable modem wifi as the cause until I got this sensor and did the tests. This makes this purchase one of the best ones I've ever made! That wifi is in the bathroom under the sink now! Yup.

Sam B: Seems fairly accurate. Compared against a cheaper model and this was much more consistent. Good construction and quality.

Thomas V.Thomas V.: Once we get familiar with the MENU so that the "light bulb" button is used to Select (which really means "go down the list"), then the desired units can be "entered", such as for RF Field Strength Units or Magnetic Field units. Then the Menu button toggles back to the last used meter reading: EF, MF, or RF. The three buttons are labeled as such as well to make it easy to switch between them. The EF will only read in V/m, which is fine. Since I bought the meter mainly for RF readings, it is like getting four meters in one, with two horizontal bar graphs that continually update, plus a time flow vertical bar graph that shows the last 30 seconds worth of readings in analog bars, and of course, the digital meter for instantaneous readings with four digit precision. The surprise for me was the beeping alarm, when the readings switched from microwatts/square meter to milliwatts per square meter, with all three bar graphs turning red instead of green or yellow. This helps a lot to pinpoint hot spots in front of computers, modems, and to a lesser degree, smart meters. The HOLD button is an extra feature that is good for photographing high readings for example. The calibration certificate...
