Cliente Amazonico: Es muy fácil de usar, con tan solo el botón de encendido y apagado ya realiza mediciones.

Es curioso ver que realmente hasta a 50 cm de una regleta de corriente al uso, como puede ser la de la mesilla de noche, o cables de corriente hay ondas que detecta como perjudiciales.

Si lo acercas a los cables se disparan las mediciones.

Me parece interesante.

TJ: Seems to be accurate; at least, it really does respond how I would imagine, to the different conditions I am testing it in, with a few concerning surprises which also do make sense. Very cool and good product.

ALSO -- I really appreciate that the instructions etc are very obviously written by native English speakers.

Seems care was made in the various aspects of this product overall.

Paul BPaul B: The media could not be loaded.  Wer ein EMF Meter sucht, der sehr empfindlich selbst auf niedrigste RF, EF und EMF Strahlung reagiert, macht hier nichts falsch. Wer Forschung betreiben und genaue Messwerte sowie den genauen Standort einer Quelle ermitteln möchte, solle sich ein Gerät ab 500€ bis über 1000€ kaufen. Verstehe daher die Kritik einiger nicht. Es ist ein Gerät zum Aufspüren von Strahlung für 100€ (ich habe im Angebot lediglich 75€ bezahlt) und kein professionelles Forschungsgerät.

Im "Video" zu sehen: Mein erster Strahlungstest an einem 3G, 4G, 5G Mobilfunk-Sendeturm (Basisstation). Entfernung zum Turm ca. 160 Meter.

Wie man sieht, wird der Turm vom Gerät erkannt (Cell Tower) und man ist in dem Abstand dauerhaft "EF und "RF Strahlung ausgesetzt. Die "EF Werte sind dauerhaft erhöht und beim Ausstoß der Funkwellen (in dem 40sek Video zweimal zu sehen) sind die "RF Werte erhöht. 19 und 16 mW/m². Höchstes Ausstoß den ich gesehen habe waren 32 mW/m². Mein Handy war im Flugmodus und hat keine Strahlung abgegeben.

Mahesvaraha: I just got my GQ EMF-390 meter and have spent a number of hours playing with it and testing it. I like it, and it's a good meter, but you gotta learn to sweet talk to it. In other words, you have to invest some time in learning how to use it properly. I am just a user. I have no official affiliation with GQ.

I am in training with the Building Biology Institute to become an Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist (EMRS). I'm speaking for me, not for them though. But, I mention it because I've spent a lot of time studying EMF meters and EMF measurements lately. That point of view affects how I view these instruments. Here are some things that I believe will help you use your instrument.

01) This is a consumer grade instrument, which they say in the FAQ, not professional grade. So, balance your expectations accordingly. However, that doesn't mean it can't be useful to a professional, as well as consumers.

02) The quick start guide is just that. Do read it. But realize that's only the beginning of your journey. Download the full user guide, which is a PDF of many pages, and go through that. At least their documents are written in mostly good English, as opposed to...

RenèRenè: A meno che non venga acquistato per divertimento o svago, scopo fondamentale di uno strumento di misura è quello di quantificare al meglio (cioè con un errore il più basso possibile) le varie grandezze acquisite.

Pertanto, al di là delle varie “coreografie” grafiche di cui lo strumento è ampiamente dotato, di seguito mi concentrerò esclusivamente sull’aspetto più qualificante di un dispositivo di misura ovvero, la sua accuratezza.
Naturalmente, trattandosi di un prodotto non professionale, tutte le valutazioni che seguiranno terranno sempre presente questo aspetto.

Le grandezze misurate dall’analizzatore sono:

1- Campo Elettrico BF (unità di misura V/m)
2- Campo Magnetico BF (unità di misura Gauss (o Tesla) e relativi sottomultipli)
3- Campo Elettromagnetico RF (unità di misura W/m2 e relativi sottomultipli)

RichRich: You may receive a functional meter from GQ Electronics. But, this is by no means guaranteed, and good luck getting your problem resolved if you get one of their bad ones!

As a Senior Computer/Electronics Design Verification Engineer now working as an EMF Consultant, I know well how to determine if electronic hardware is defective in general (and EMF meters in specific), and the GQ-EMF 390 I received is clearly defective (details below and in the attached pics). For the same reason, it's also obvious to me when a manufacturer's Quality Control and Debug processes are broken: In this case, GQ Electronics allowed a defective meter to be shipped out not once but twice, they have repeatedly failed to properly identify/debug/fix the problem, and they're *still* wasting my time and energy with ridiculous, condescending and redundant run-arounds, instead of owning the problem and replacing the broken meter. Ego? Incompetence? Both?)

As you can see from the attached photos (also sent to GQ Electronics), for example, the meter I received shows an RF reading of 0 mW/m2, in both "RF Browser" and "All-in-one" modes, even when placed right next to two transmitting RF sources...
