Alec Tucker: Definitely NOT real carbon fiber but looks kind of like it from several feet away I guess. As a heat shield tho seems to do its job. While cruising my intake Temps only get about 10-12 degrees hotter then the outside temperature which for a short ram intake is pretty respectable
