Kwikset Carson Entry Door Lock with SmartKey Technology in Satin Chrome Finish - Light Commercial Grade

Bryan: Purchased on Amazon without getting to put my hands on this model in any of our stores locally. First impression was how small and light duty this set seemed. I was replacing older round knobs that were cheap builder grade quality and this lock set trim bezel was smaller. Not a huge deal but I’ll need to touch up the paint when it warms up to hide the mark left behind. My hand doesn’t quite fit inside the handle, which isn’t a deal breaker but it reminds me that it was cheap. It feels like I could easily snap the handle off by hand and get in. A good deadbolt is more secure, and this door has one so I’m not worried about this lock being weak. I’d be hesitant to have this as the only lock if you need the secure.

Patrick Pulte: Installed in minutes. Used smartlock to rekey to existing keys. My wife is happy because the handle is so much easier to open with gloves on and you know if your wife is happy life is good.
