Solid construction, will deter casual theft looking for easy score. Nothing is 100% safe so I also use a second, larger Kryptonite to secure back tire to bike frame along with the rack in heavy urban areas.
With smaller loop can secure quick release front tire or back tire as situation demands. Also loop perfect size to lock electric scooter to bicycle while securing everything to bike rack.

Purchased the Kryptonite Evolution 7 with a 4 foot cable. Wasn't a good fit for my hybrid when trying to lock up the frame and both tires. Cable was just long enough to secure the front tire, but I couldn't lock my rear tire. So I returned the Evolution 7 for the Messenger Mini.
The Kryptonite Messenger Mini is perfect. I can lock up the frame and rear tire of my bike to any bike rack. Adding a 7 foot Kryptonite cable from Amazon permitted me to secure my front tire. You want to buy this lock!
