attention gros probleme de qualité de la serrure.
Il m'est arrivé a deux reprises que la serrure soit bloquée et impossible a ouvrir (vélo attaché dans la rue donc), au bout d'un mois puis a nouveau 3 mois donc un antivol neuf.
La clé ne pouvait pas rentrer a fond car le dernier loquet a l'intérieur de la serrure a tourné et bloquait du coup le passage de la serrure, j'ai pu constater la dernière fois en essayant de le débloquer que l'un des autres loquets intermédiaires se mettait parfois a tourner aussi et bloquait aussi le trou!
Ca n'a pas l'air d'être un défaut de l'antivol mais bien du design de cette serrure qui semble beaucoup trop laxe, ca ne respire pas la qualité.
J'ai pu avec beaucoup de difficulté le débloquer les 2 fois en 10minutes d'essais mais je ne me risquerais plus a utiliser cet antivol, je n'ai pas trop envie de voler mon propre vélo a la disqueuse en pleine rue...
aucun remboursement ni retour proposé par amazon sur cet article et le contact du sav du constructeur est absolument introuvable!

We needed one for out daughters 20" bike. All the standard ones and Onguard ones were too big and kept getting in the way and were un-mountable on a smaller bike. This one fits perfectly without getting in the way and does the job.

This small form fator is great. The bike mounts on the side of my bike on the rear downward arm and looks elegant. I also registered this with the insurance option they provied. $9 a year for theft is not bad.

Great product - high quality and works well. Best entry level Kryptonite lock on the market that even comes with an attachment to hold your lock while you’re biking. Keys are high quality and doesn’t get stuck or bend easily. Lock holder comes with a rubber strap so it doesn’t scratch your frame. Option to register for kryptonite’s insurance program where if your bike is stolen they’ll refund you up to $2000 (if I’m not mistaken). And they’ll also send you free keys for free as long as you register them. Awesome company, awesome product, would buy 10 if I had 10 bikes.
After using for about 2 weeks, commuting in NYC, the only thing I would recommend is tightening and adjusting the holder every week or so just so the lock doesn’t accidentally get in your way while riding.

It's hard to believe this lock doesn't get the highest possible security rating. It's heavy and thick and the type of locking mechanism means that even when cut through, the pieces will stay locked in place, meaning it has to be cut through a second time before a bike can be stolen. Plus, when attaching it to a bike frame, everything is infinitely adjustable: the clip on the lock itself can be rotated through 360° and the bracket which attaches to the bike has a fabric strap which can wrap tightly round even awkwardly shaped frame bars (like the D-shaped aerodynamic ones). The bracket's receptor clip for the lock is also rotatable through 360°, so the bracket and lock can be fitted just about anywhere on the bike frame that's safe, without taking up the space needed for a water bottle. A quality product, highly recommended.
