Teresa J Dwyer: I'm embarrassed to say that I've bought this exact grinder THREE times now. I was looking for a very small grinder and this fit the bill. The first time it worked GREAT - for MANY years. And then one day the motor just stopped working. There'd be a little "whirring" sound but no blade motion. It was dead. The 2nd time I bought it, it lasted for about 2 years - then same problem - just stopped working one day. (Same thing - motor was really soft sounding but no blade movement.) So... like an idiot, I bought it a THIRD time. This time it literally lasted a couple of MONTHS. And that was with very little usage. (As in, a couple of times/week, maximum.) This one was, obviously, a complete waste of money. Stopped working in exactly the same was as described above. Not sure what to do at this point as it's WELL past the return point. Oh well.

John Shilling: This is my second. The first lasted at least 12 years. The trigger pin eventually wore down where it was unreliable. The price has stayed about the same. The grinder works well and is very simple, put in the coffee and push down the switch, listen until pitch changes.

D. Bowie: Important context: I use this for grinding spices, not coffee. If you want a coffee grinder, your experience may be different.
This is the best electric spice grinder I've found, and I've tried a lot. It's incredibly easy to use, holds more spices than you might expect from just looking at it, and the blade and motor are quite durable. However, I do wish the lid was more durable (I bought a new one because the cracks in the lid were making it obvious that part was about to fall apart) and that it was easier to clean (using water on any part of the assembly is iffy). For now, though, even with those drawbacks it's the best out there, and usually available at a reasonable price.
