This little tool is worth every penny. First of all, if you purchase a box of reeds they are fairly expensive nowadays. I use Vandoren and with tax, about $27- 28 for a box of 5. And you're lucky if 3 are any good. So you know upfront you are going to have to sort that out and I'm not kind of reed freak, I'm a full-blown reed geek. That's because the difference is day and night between an average or bad reed and an excellent one. The nuances of consistent vibration are such that your reed becomes trouble-free allowing for easy blowing and sensitive responsiveness to the spectrum of nuances a great reed is capable of performing for the player. This Reed Geek gives you the ability to make every reed top-notch. There is a short learning curve but there are instructional videos on YouTube that will teach you the nuances of how to use the tool. Really it's pretty easy to learn. Reed Geek has really helped my playing. My only regret is I didn't buy one 15 years ago.

Lauren Peiffer: Purchased this to attach photos to a bouquet. This is well made and serves the purpose. I did not need the photo resizer so cannot speak to that part. Attaching the photo was easy and it seems sturdy.

Curtis R.: I don’t think this is worth the cost . TBH . It seems like an extreme price. But it gets the job done . As a groomer this is great to have .

Dan Hardley: Looks as advertised. Seems exceptionally sturdy, will have no problem supporting a hat or surviving normal use. Tested and works well both indoors and in car (hanging from passenger roof handle). I bought two.
More info:
Supports my hat well. Hanging on wall, hat is supported entirely by the hook, which touches only the inside leather band. My brim has a reasonably deep curve, so I was worried it would still touch the wall, but this didn't happen. There is leeway to adjust, you will see.
It should be noted that my hanger did come with a logo on it, of the store from which it was sold. But it is as tasteful as possible, doesn't look bad, and doesn't bother me. It shows while the hat is hanging. If this is something that might bother you, inquire beforehand.

avlea2avlea2: We had these at our veterinary clinic for a few weeks when a German shepherd ripped the outer layer while attempting to slide it off her face. The outer, coloured, layer is thin. That would be OK--because its use is mainly to allow quick identification of the size of the muzzle--if the next layer weren't made of cheap, equally thin foam. So because a dog tried to remove the muzzle (as dogs will do), the muzzle is ruined.
I love the design of these muzzles, but they're probably not worth the significant cost.

Will in Seattle: First, pretty new clarinetist/saxophonist here. But long time musical person. Reeds kinda suck, right? Box of 10, 3 are good, 4 are okay, 3 are hopeless. Not anymore. This thing really works as advertised.
I started with one of my unplayable reeds. It's a Vandoren 3. BTW, I keep them all in a jar with a damp towel. Seems to work pretty well. But this reed I could never really get a sound out of. Warmed it up like all the others, just couldn't fight much sound out of it. ReedGeeked the back and it was a little more playable. Did the rails (the triangular shape on the top) and top with the scraper and wow, suddenly it's a playable reed. Did a bit more and it's a solidly good reed!
Then took one of my better reeds and just did the back. Better! Did the rails just a bit and kinda smoothed the top, better again!
This thing is actually going to pay for itself inside a year. Between me and my son on clarinet and sax, it's actually going to save us money.
BTW I've tried and use the Legere plastic reeds and like them. No warm up, no hassle. But they do tend to run a bit harsh AND the sax reed cracked in 4 places within a week. I tried ReedGeeking it and guess...
