Freddy K: This product worked as advertised. I used it to clear up an ich infection in my 90 gallon freshwater aquarium. It didn't harm my snails or my plants and didn't harm any fish. After 1 week of treatment the tank was back to normal. I'll use this again if I ever need to. It's a light brown color and smells like strong garlic. Very pleased with it's effectiveness and seems like a safe product for my tank.

Jessica W.: Noticed white spots on ember and neon tetras after new gourami added. 12 of 14 had at least one spot. Did not want to quatantine them and stress them out and because read whole tank is likely infected. So...needed a product safe for our plants, snail, dwarf crayfish, and pleco tankmates...and this seemed to fit the bill.

While waiting for this to arrive, did 75% water change, gave ornaments super hot salt bath, heated water to 80 (+/- 3) and added salt. Also dipped flake/ pellets in garlic juice like others had suggested. No progression but not any noticeable improvement with that alone.

Started this product 36hrs later along with continued heat and salt and partial (10-25% per day) and changed food to Omega One Garlic Marine Flake because dipped flake was sinking too fast/ fish weren't that into it.

All fish are fighting over the Omega One Garlic Marine Flake.

We have been adding 1-1/4 the standard doseage 2 times a day.

So far, only 2 days after start, only 3/14 tetras have spots...and way less spots than then at day 0. All fish and tankmates (snail, pleco, dwarf crayfish, moss ball, java fern, gouramis, golden barbs, and...

Lemon: suddenly not sure where i got the information that it's unsafe for invertebrate, their website claims it IS safe for all types of species including invertebrate and skinless fish. anyway, i separated my dwarf frogs before treating my tank for 2-3 weeks. my snails did great, no problem at all. the ich cleared up from the fish really quickly. i continued to treat it for an extra week after i last saw ich spots, so i believe i used it for around 3 weeks. it DOES turn your water into a kind of nasty tea water, but it works great and clears up quickly after a water change or two. this bottle of ich attack is kind of expensive, but it's a huge bottle and i feel better having it in my arsenal just in case i need it again. (fingers crossed we wont!)

chris: Did you know that Ich is basically always in your fishbowl and when oxygen fails or the food waste starts decomposing it thrives and can really affect your beautiful fish, which get white spots and if not treated in time can eventually die? I love this treatment, it's completely organic so doesn't' harm the fish, it fights against ich bacteria and keeps your fish strong and without stress. Obviously to be used any time you buy new fish cause they should always be quarantined before put together with the fish you already have in your bowl. a teaspoon everyday for a week. Then I personally use one teaspoon every second day after the initial week. Great product!

Lee James Collingwood: BrIef Summary: Arrived quickly in good condition it worked eventually and it didn’t kill my cherry shrimp.
Detailed Story: I have a fairly new set up (3 Months) and within a few weeks I Noticed a few tiny white spots on my Bristle Pleco.. was sureif it was white spot Ick but within a week I noticed it on two cardinals out of five... and one runny nose out of four.. so I ordered Ich Attack on the fact it was organic and would not harm invertebrates etc as I have one cherry shrimp... on arrival and reading instructions and other forums suggestions I replaced my filter and poured a capful in as it’s an 80litre tank .. the Ich became much worse over the week and started to cover the cardinals so I upped the dose to two capfuls a day (I didn’t change the water temp at all).. I lost 2 cardinals that week as suspected I would lose a third as it was really bad and others had turned on it nipping it’s fins down but to my astonishment the Ick attack had started to kick in and I could see a slight improvement after ten days.. somehow the sick cardinal managed to shake it off after almost dieing.. Pleco didn’t seem too effected and showed no symptoms after...

Jake: Had Ich in my planted aquarium and was struggling to find a treatment that would not harm my plants, shrimp, and loach. It took me a few days to find this product, and by the time I had it, around 7 out of 15 fish had Ich. This product (along with raising the temperature) fixed the problem without losing any fish, shrimp or plants.

It definitely isn't the cheapest, and took slighly longer to cure all fish (just over a week until there were no fish with Ich), but is worth every penny if you have a plants and/or inverts in your aquarium.

JD: The bottom line is I think this product can probably kill free-floating parasites, but it does nothing for infected fish. Infected fish need more than herbal treatment.

I have a 55 gallon planted freshwater tank with neon tetras, harlequin rasboras, and lots of shrimp and snails. I made the mistake of adding some fish to my tank without putting them in quarantine first. I won't do that again. My fish didn't have ich, but they had some other type of white parasite/fungus on their skin, and probably gill flukes based on their rapid respiration and erratic behavior. Ich Attack is supposed to be able to treat all of those. The fish were definitely sick, and a few died. I read all the detailed info on the Kordon website, so I removed my chemical filtration, started at the double dose of Ich Attack, and kept the bottle refrigerated. After a week, the infected fish showed no improvement, and several more died. At that point, I netted them out and set up a hospital tank and treated them with Seachem Paraguard. Paraguard works great, and all the fish were alive and disease-free after 14 days of treatment. In the meantime, I continued to dose Ich Attack...

Ayla: I started treating my Neon Tetras as soon as I saw a spot or two of ich on a couple of them, and within 10 days they were all clear. I did not increase the temperature in the aquarium, as I have Red Cherry Shrimp, Amano shrimp and Nerite snails in the aquarium as well. They were completely fine and unaffected by the medication.

As it is a 100% natural herbal treatment, there is no copper or other heavy metal which will kill snails and adversely affect shrimp. On the other hand, BECAUSE it is a herbal treatment, it does take longer to appear to start working, but if you are vigilant and start treatment as soon as you see any sign of ich, it definitely seems to prevent it spreading, and does cure it. Make sure you continue treatment for up to 4 days after you see any white spot, to ensure you kill any larvae still in the water column.

I will definitely always have this on hand in case of another outbreak, and would recommend it, although I need to warn potential buyers: IT STINKS!!!! Really really stinks!

Zach: As other reviewers have noted it does work but not quickly. I am most of the way through one bottle and I just ordered another. I have been doing a slightly higher than recommended dose three times a day and the situation is very much improved. There are only a few sparse trophozoites left on the guppies' tails. Guppies are notoriously weak. I would still recommend one of the harsher, faster acting remedies if the fauna in your tank can withstand it. If you have sensitive "scaleless" fish, like plecos or corys, or inverts like snails or shrimp, then with patience this can work. I did have two fish die but I was responsible for this. I went through a denial stage and failed to treat soon enough. It smells like something Satan would put on his scrambled eggs.

UPDATE:
As I was approaching the end of the bottle there was still an isolated spot here and there on some fish. I didn't lose any more fish after the first two when I began treating (too late). It was all clear long before the second bottle was finished. I retract my previous recommendation regarding the harsher stuff. This stuff works and is gentle. Slow is beside the point. This is what I would...
