Kootek 8-Piece Reusable Popsicle and Ice Cream Mold Set - Make Delicious Homemade Treats!

Oakshay: I already have two sets of two of these. Our son is on a special diet and I use these to make him protein powder fudgsicles everyday so I need them to rotate. He must have thrown away some of the sticks so I had to recently order this last set of two. Well the new inserts are just a hair too small for the old bases that it sits in. Not impossible to just check before I pour but annoying and kind of unnecessary as far as I can see.

Zach LaRue: I've had these molds for about a month at time of writing this review, and they've been great. A month may not be the longest, but I'll update after about a year.

So far, the molds have performed as well as they possibly could. I'll go through about 8 popsicles a week, so they get filled and cleaned about that often as well. Filling with the included collapsible funnel is pretty easy, and cleaning is even easier - top rack of the dishwasher and wait.

Removal isn't the easiest thing in the world, but I wouldn't expect it to be. I've just pulled the mold from the outer shell, filled that shell with hot water, and dunked the mold in for ~5 seconds to loosen each pop. Works well, and not really any hassle.

Considering I was going through ~2 boxes of brand-name fruit popsicles each week for $6 a box, these paid for themselves almost instantly. Well worth it.

Tealeaves: These are wonderful. Easy to remove pops when frozen as per instructions (ie warm water in tray per instructions, only put in the water the ones you want to remove, wait about 1 minute), plus good recipes included. Love it. Only thing, and I deducted one star for this, is we've already lost three of the little "sticks" that you use to hold the popsicle. They're easy to lose, (I suspect we threw them away by accident as we usually hold the little sticks with paper towels to catch any errant drips or more likely, a tiny piece of the pospsicle that might drop while eating), and inevitibly, we threw away with said paper towel, so not the seller's fault or the manufacturers. We've simply purchased a bag of 500 popsicle sticks (wooden) on Amazon and simply throw away after each use and we've found this works really well, since you can fill the popsicle molds higher with more good stuff! (With the little sticks it comes with, you can't fill too full or it will overflow). We LOVE the mango/coconut popsicle recipe. Healthy. I eat one of them pretty much daily. Enjoy!

filomena morra: Product did not work two of the moulds broke and the popciles didn't even come out on the stick. Very disappointing because my daughter was looking forward to them!

SuketchiLT: The dishwasher safe aspect is what initially grabbed my attention (I hate scrubbing stuff with food stuck to it), and I can confirm that it has survived a trip in my dishwasher with the heated drying session. These are also pretty small, so they're good for snacks. I recommend checking the dimensions if you aren't sure about their size.

While reading reviews I saw a lot of comments about the ice pops being hard to remove. The seller suggests putting warm water in the colored bin and submerging the bottom of the actual tray inside to loosen the pops. If you only want to do one at a time, then you only need to submerge that many. You can put the edge of the bin in the gap between the one you want and the next in line so the ones you're saving aren't in the water. Worked perfectly for me. My other idea was to warm water and soak a hand towel in it, then wrap the towel around the pop I wanted, but I didn't have to take it that far.

I also saw complaints about the sticks snapping and I haven't had any problems yet, although this is still a pretty new product for me. They don't look noticeably flimsy, but maybe extended use will show otherwise. If you allow the ice pop you...

Julianna56: My husband and I really enjoy the quality of construction and the design of this product !
We are now making our own healthy version of the ice cream bars that we used to like to go out to get and this product fits the bill !
Serving size is perfect , The aesthetic of the finished ice cream bar is appetizing ! The thickness of the bite of the I cream bar is also just right! We are pleased with our purchase we will recommend product.
To some these things may not be important but when you’re a foodie and you just are not ready to give up everything that childhood memories can bring for those of us baby boomers this is a welcome product .
Nevertheless the Millennials,Centennials! alpha generations coming up are our Children and grandchildren and great grandchildren!

Who all have very different taste and I can make them their own ice cream flavors or fruit flavors and I don’t have to have 10 different packages of unhealthy expensive ice cream bars they give them no benefit at all .
It’s a great way to add some love for my family and friends and do something good for there health and bring a smile 😊
