yuri magri: What a wonderful discovery. we blend fruit and nuts and make delicious popsicle. They are easy to remove and easy to clean. From trying multiple times, the only thing is try to avoid pushing the stick too much into the mold as it will leave too little room to hold on with your fingers. Love it.

raggmopp: I made some pops that were too icy and very pretty (strawberries, blueberries) but not very flavorful after all. The recipe book that's included is nicely written and illustrated but a little disjointed -- some of the photos show things that are NOT described in the text (like, how to get a chocolate coating on the outside of a pop). One thing that was good info was that a recipe said adding avocado creates a smoother, creamier pop, so I have tried that and it's true. I think I like creamier better than icier. I did mango/banana with avocado and protein powder, yogurt, coconut milk, honey... pretty much the only thing you could taste was the banana -- they really do overpower everything else -- but they were tasty. Thoughtful to include the plastic wraps and wood sticks in case of needing to make lots for parties. I don't personally need those things but...

They freeze up nicely but take quite a while, and they are sometimes a bit of a wrestle to get out but not a deal-breaker.

OldGrey: We like this kit. Tried orange juice to start with, but the freezing process sapped the sweetness out of the juice. Next time we used 1/3 orange squash with the juice. Result, great tasting lollys and loved by the family. These are great value, and easy to use.

anonymous in VA: I had a different, horizontal pop maker before this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TG9BHQS). It worked well and release was super-easy, but it made mini-sized pops that were not big enough to be worth the fuss in the end. It also takes up more space while freezing, so it's hard to make a good quantity at once.

So I gave it away and got this vertical mold, and like many others am finding it a real challenge to get the contents out, because I'm trying to make creamy, pudding-y type pops, not icy juice pops.

Now, this is a nice product with some thoughtful inclusions--a collapsible funnel, a cleaning tool, a slotted lid that can be used with standard sized wooden sticks (a good number included) and a set of reusable plastic sticks. It also comes with some clear bags so you can individually wrap the pops if you like. There's also a recipe book. And this makes a lot of pops in a small footprint, which is very handy if you don't have a big freezer.

I did manage to figure out a way to get them out of the mold, but not before damaging some of the cells by trying to slide a knife between the pops and the walls to break suction.

I'm a popsicle fiend -- I will go through an entire box of sugar-free popsicles in a single evening. (Give me a break, they're 15 calories each and I live in the South. It's hot!) That adds up, especially with grocery prices climbing rapidly. So I found a recipe for popsicles that are low-calorie and not pure ice (hint: use Sugar-Free Jell-O with concentrated Crystal Light), then decided to buy this popsicle tray. I'm very happy with my purchase. It will save me significant money with minimal effort. The kit comes with several excellent features, but it has a few poor design decisions that you should be mindful of.

1) The spigot funnel is not very large, so you would be best served to either by an alternative or find a bottle to fit the funnel onto.

2) The plastic, which is high-quality and designed for easy removal of frozen pops, is very very flimsy when you put it in the freezer. You might be better off placing it on a cookie sheet or cutting board, then placing the entire set-up in the freezer.

3) The popsicles may stick a bit to the sides of the mold -- especially if you use sugary mixes or fresh fruit. I do not know for sure,...
