Ronald L Gable: I think I bought five of these, three of which I had to through away because I took too long getting around to trying to use them. I replaced all three of my home office computers with machines running Wondows 7 (64 bit) operating system. All three came with 2GB installed, I found our very quickly they really need 4GB to perfome. I ordered five or six of the inexpensive Komputerbay 1GB sticks but did not get around to installing all at once. Basically I set up one machine at a time. For the most part the machine would not boot after installing the memory. I seem to recall Komputerbay did replace one of the chips from my early installation but I took too long on my set ups to be under the replacement timeline.
My advice to anyone buying these would be to check them out quickly.

David Campbell: I needed a ram stick for a Vista computer to get it to 4 gb. This ram module is working perfectly in the computer that I have now upgraded to Windows 7. Although it is not wise to mix ram from different manufacturers, this one from Komputerbay has shown no difficulty in getting along with the other ram. Works like a charm.

Bob R: Ordered to upgrade an older Dell 530s (with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor) desktop computer from 2GB memory to 4GB. The memory modules arrived packaged very well and installed with no issues. Been using them for several weeks and they are working perfectly. The computer is used daily mainly for word processing, spreadsheets, video editing, and of course games, Very satisfied, great value.

Rhys Samson: Did the trick in speeding up an older desktop computer. It came with 2GB and adding an additional 2 1GB stick made a HUGE difference in the speed of my computer. I feel like 4GB total is the perfect sweet spot for Windows 7/8 computers.
The RAM came in easy to access packaging and installed w/out issue.

J R Jones: In July 2015 I narrowed a month-long problem of intermittently failing apps in my HP Pavilion 8400f PC (~6 years old) to a defective range of memory addresses having a single sticky bit (eg, Wrote pattern 00000000H, read back pattern 00000080H) in memory bank 6/7, and detected with the windows memory diagnostic, when run manually. Easily replaced the defective memory stick with this product, which cleared the problem. As of 11/21/2015 no more memory issues.
