Vicanne: My pool was a mess because the pump broke and it turned nasty green. I emptied it as much as I could and then refilled my pool and used this to get the rest. That was a mess. It took me over a month to get most of it. But the little container that holds the debris and algae from the pool was so small that I had to take it out and empty it so often that it took forever. But it did work and I am glad I bought it.

Amazon Customer: I'm giving this a 4 star instead of 5 because I have the old model and I loved it. This one charges differently and I'm not sure if I like the set up for it. I just got it so to soon to tell. However, it's a great product and I use it all the time in our Fiberglass pool that is 40 x15 and 6'8" deep. I use it for in between cleanings with our Dolphine premier robot cleaner. Another product worth every penny.

Bien mieux pour moi que mon robot qui met un temps fou a faire le travail en passant partout sauf ou se trouve les debris a aspirer.

Jason G. Gauthier: When I first received this item, I nearly returned it as it was obviously a poorly package return that had been sold to me. Before returning though, I decided to give it a try to see if I even wanted to reorder a similar product.
My skepticism quickly went away when I started using this vacuum. It picked up clumps of leaves, sand, sticks, and even golf ball-sized walnuts that had fallen into the pool! The key to using this vacuum effectively is to work in small areas and to move slowly so as not to agitate the fine sediment nearby. After about 20-30 minutes, I had emptied the vacuum bag 3 times and cleaned the entire floor of our 16' pool. I have since used it half dozen times. Suction is still strong and still works well. I don't know how long the battery lasts after charging because it is still going strong after about 30 minutes of use.
The only reason I gave the vacuum 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think the aluminum pole is a little flimzy and the sections do not connect tightly. I am frequently re-tightening them so the vacuum doesn't come off and I have to go diving to retrieve it. If this vacuum dies this season or next, I will definitely be buying...
