Erica: My cats don’t like it, it sticks in their paws and irritates them.
Becomes a sticky mush when cat urinate and very hard to clean.
Tracks like crazy, have to sweep after every use

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I'm going to write the review I wish I saw before I bought this! Tl;Dr: Okocat litter is the best. Original is very chunky, Supersoft is way finer, Featherweight is about the same; Supersoft is my favorite. This is seriously an incredible litter. It's so good! Okocat seriously beats the pants off of all competitors when it comes to dust especially.

I've been trying to transition my cats to a litter other than clay, but also didn't want to spend a fortune or deal with bugs (wheat, walnut, corn litters.) Cheap wood litter is really dusty (Feline Pine), smells bad (Catalyst Unscented), doesn't clump well (sorry, Feline Pine) or has unnecessary additives (Naturals) so I was trying to find one that fixed those problems, too. We were coming from Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Unscented, which is a super fine, odorless clay that my cats liked a lot. It was pretty low dust, clumped well, and was easy to scoop.

Amazon Customer: Mistook this for a similar brand. Not quite as good and much more expensive. Now buying desired product from a local catalogue house.
All wood, smells good, clumps fairly well, absorbs odor.

Mar Preston: I notice a lot of people love it, some hate it in other reviews. I love it. This is the first time in my life I've shared a bathroom with cats (2) and I am particular about their litter. The cats like it for one. The smell of the box is hugely reduced with this product. Of course, it tracks, but it's easily hand-vacuumed up. Goes a long way.

AFM: Not as good as the pellets that I got before they were great. When i bought them they were reasonable price now the price has gone up. That is why I decided to try the clumping, It does not absorb as well and it does have an odor.
With this brand It gets tracked by the cat, a lot more cleaning up. Price is good . like the pellets much more.

Em: If you are a dedicated ailurophile searching for a cat litter that leaves a small carbon footprint, is free of anti-microbials, clumps well, masks odors, is virtually dustless, will not sicken you or your cats, and is gentle on paws, then Okocat Cat litter may appeal to you.

First of all, I swore off clay and silicate type litters years ago due to the carcinogens from sodium bentonite...so if you use and love your clay litter this review is not for you.

If you are using a plant based litter such as corn or wheat and you are concerned about the dangers of aflatoxins but feel you've run out of eco-friendly choices, keep reading.

So what type litter remains? We're left with wood, paper, and crushed nut shells, with formulas and textures ranging from fine sawdust to pelletized in both clumping and non-clumping formulas. The paper is usually non-clumping only and best recommended for kittens, immuno-compromised cats, and cats with allergies. The crushed nut shells, although a very good option, is difficult to keep clean because the litter is dark brown and it's very dusty.
