Michael Hughes: Seems to work very well. No strong odor as with kerosene. It also burns hot and bright.

sabre03: I now have a few (five) oil lanterns and I've burned kerosene, citranella, liquid parrafin and this product. So far I like this stuff the best because 1) It burns very clean - no soot unless you turn it WAY up, 2) In my lanterns this burns brightly, at least better than the parrafin, 3) It seems to last at least as long as the other products in my Dietz 2500 (which I'm using two to three hours a night and I've filled it once five days ago and I still have about half a tank.). It's a little more expensive, but the quality (at least to me), evens out the expense.

TamTam: Is it 100% odorless? No, it has a faint smell but NOTHING compared to kerosene! If others are smelling it, chances are they are using the same wick as when they used kerosene. If you don't change the wick, you will still get the kerosene smell. I'm very happy with this lamp oil and will continue to use it in all of my oil lamps!
