kanard williams: This review is mostly about the seller, The boi-fuel, but also the seller, The Soothing Company. But first, the product:

I received the packaging in pristine condition, no leaks or obvious. The fuel is good, cleaner burning than another brand I tried, produces a beautiful flame that lasts a good long time once muted. Good price, well worth it.

Related to the seller, as I said, I received the box in great condition, no obvious tampering with shipping seals or packing tape.

However, when I opened the package, there was one bottle half empty, and upon checking the seal under the cap, it had been broken and peeled back.

Immediately, I contacted the Soothing Company through Amazon. I explained the situation by email, and simply requested them sending ONE replacement bottle.

Today, I received a shipment from them, not of one to to replace the bottle that was half full, but a full package of SIX. Wow!

I want to thank The Soothing Company for their response, they could have sent just one, but sent an entire package, above and beyond my expectations. I will faithfully order from them exclusively from here on out.

NormD.NormD.: The media could not be loaded.  I’ve purchased a number of gel fuels and some were good and bought the same again with the complete different results. This is my favorite for ease in use and the height of the flame. See the video and picture to know what I mean. Just slow delivery.

Verified user: I’ll preface this by saying I know nothing about fuel, so perhaps that’s why this product isn’t working for me. However, the product description specifies that it is usable in all indoor fireplaces, so I feel justified giving this a poorer rating. This product is very fast burning compared with others I’ve used. It also has a tendency to explode when lit. I have to light it with a long candle. It lights immediately and there’s a small explosion that projects lit fuel around the area, leaving small bits of burning pools around. It’s quite the thrilling experience, especially given that fuels I’ve used in the past are very slow to light, which means they burn for longer and are MUCH safer. Now, possibly the problem is they fireplace I’m using which is very small and simple. The system uses a long wick that sits in a pool of the fuel. Possibly this fuel would be safer used in a traditional lamp or a fireplace with a more sophisticated fuel dispersement system, I’m honestly not sure. But if that is the case, then that should be explained VERY clearly in the product description. And the description should be altered to say it’s NOT safe for all fireplaces, and then...

Susan: I use the stone pits of a morning to take the chill out of the livingroom. A also have two unties on my back porch. Enjoy have coffee out there. It get's toasty warm. If it rain's at night, I light them up and just listen. So enjoyable!
