Designer Mom: We replaced a C******art that was horrible. Anything compared to that dangerous piece of junk would have been an improvement, but this KA food processor is great. The top part is very solid and easy to clean. It came with more slicer options than I know what to do with and they're heavy duty. It has done a great job processing everything we've done so far. The size of the food chute is good. The safety features are solid. In summary, this is the usual well designed, solid product I expect from Kitchen Aid. They do good work.

Emily Ohland: I bought this to replace my 1993 kitchen aid whose bowl handle had broken. There have been improvements in the last 25 years! I was skeptical when I noticed how much lighter the housing is. However, I have not noticed a lack of power or substance as a result. It is so quiet compared to the old model as well. I’m very happy with the option to change the thickness of my slices as well.

erica: This is probably the best food processor I have owned. The only thing I didn't like is when you use the 3 cup bowl it's a little hard to get the top on - the key is to make sure the blade setting is lowest and line everything up exactly. I was grinding walnuts and some of the ground nuts got blown into the large bowl but not too much. It's powerful and works well for what I need.

Juan: Este procesador de alimentos es caro, digamos las cosas como son para nuestro poder adquisitivo como mexicanos, pero el producto lo vale. Esta muy bien hecho, hace lo que promete y tiene un diseño bien pensado para todo tipo de procesamiento. En mi caso lo adquirimos como una inversión de la familia para comer más saludable. Los frijoles en puré o el humus quedan en su punto. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

M. Lyon: I bought this product to replace my KitchenAid food processor that I've owned for 16 years! The only reason I had to replace it is because the workbowl broke and I couldn't buy a replacement. The old base was still going strong. Now, about this one. When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed was that the work bowl and accessories are MUCH sturdier than my old ones! The plastic is thicker and heavier. The questionable thing is that the base is MUCH lighter than my old machine. I hope that doesn't mean that it isn't as powerful and/or that it won't last as long. I guess that remains to be seen. I am sad that, in general, products just don't last as long as they used to. Anyway, I took this for a spin as soon as I took it out of the box and made some hummus. It did what it was supposed to do. There was a slight electric smell when I first turned it on, but that disapated quickly. I am hoping it was just "new motor" smell. I am going to do something heavier next to see if it "jumps around the counter" like some other reviews stated. I really hope not, because the color is lovely and I have hope that I can still trust the KitchenAid name.
