This is my second kitchen aid kettle. The first one I gave to my parents. Other electric kettles have all broken down. This is a beautiful kettle and goes very well with my kitchen. It is a smaller kettle but perfect for 2 - 4 cups of tea. You cannot go wrong with kitchen aid.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom and she was very happy with it. I've also used it a few times myself and am really pleased by it. The look of this pot is beautiful, it actually makes you WANT to keep it displayed on the counter. The build feels really sturdy and durable, and it slots into the dock really nicely. The switch lights up when the water is heating and also clicks in a satisfying way. The pot does not make any noise when it boils other than the switch clicking off, which might be a negative for some who would prefer it to beep or something like that. Heats up the water pretty quickly, about typical for an electric kettle but def quicker than a stovetop.
