ashley: love these shorts... loved them so much i went and bought another pair 9 months later and while they are visually the same shorts they seemed so much smaller. they still fit because they're stretchy but i laid them on top of the first pair and there is a good 3" difference in width. Old pair are my go-to comfy pair, new pair are my more fitted, less comfy, but better looking pair... if that makes sense.
