TechnoJunkie: These work well, although I haven't figured out the proper way to shorten them (other than wrapping them over themselves as needed). They seem to hold up well to stresses and to the weather and sunlight. The white ones do readily pick up stains (rust, metal protectant, grass, etc.) , and I haven't found a way to remove the stains, so a lot of my white bungee balls now look pretty dirty.
