I was excited to receive this but then a little disappointed with performance.
Ended up modifying it to use an external 18650 LiON battery and to use the headset microphone as not a default option.
My only use is to connect a headset via Bluetooth to phone or computer.
Pros:
It was easy to connect to phone and the audio playing through the headset is great.
I did not notice a video lag when watching videos.
Small and lightweight.
Easy to open up and get at internals.
System messages given in English.
Cons:
I would only get 20-30 minutes from the battery running a full size headset with over the ears speakers. "Low Battery" was a phrase I heard more than once. Smaller in the ear phones might get the 8 hours they promise. Internal battery when tested was around 65mah which seems about right for size (8mmx3mmx30mm). Now I have an 1800mah 18650 powering it and get hours of use.
The headset microphone is not used by the original setup even though the jack socket could support it. Ended up removing the microphone on the circuit board and wiring up the headset microphone to Bluetooth. Unfortunately, it sounds like an aircraft...

Was very happy with this product at the start (first month) and then it started to lose BT connection and refuse to connect to my phone. Stopped working all together at the 6 week mark and was replaced with the Amazon Echo Auto. I didn't realize how poor the sound quality was until the echo was installed.
Overall it worked but the sound quality and durability would prevent me from buying again.

Works as advertised. Battery is good for a full day but must be recharged overnight or will not last into a second day. Would have given 5 stars if the battery lasted a little longer. For those who are looking to plug this into something a little more active than your car (I.e. I use it in a ski helmet) the plug is strong and holds well.

I’m not one for writing reviews, and really dislike doing negative reviews, but feel compelled to share my experience. It arrived, I charged it up, and pairing was easy. I’m using it to listen to music while running on a treadmill. I plug it into a headphone jack on the treadmill itself. First 20 minutes were great, then I got continuous dropouts that sounded like a prolonged musical stutter. Had to turn it off and back on to clear, all while running. Each time since it’s gone into that dropout cycle with increased frequency. It now takes less than a minute before it descends into dropout hell. The phone I’m streaming from is in my pocket and the Bluetooth dongle is less than 12 inches away. Perhaps it’s just the one I got, but based on my experience I’d strongly discourage others from purchasing.
