Ann Dilzer: I bought this to have an additional fob for my 2005 Toyota Camry LE. I bought it in Dec. 2022 and have not been able to program it until today. Because today a locksmith tried to program it. He did EXACTLY what I have done dozens of times since I received it. He was a little more adventurous though and played around with the 3 buttons on the fob. Turns out the thing was wired incorrectly and the "LOCK" button opens the trunk; the "TRUNK" button locks the car and the "UNLOCK" button works correctly. I can't use it this way because I will depend on the picture on the fob and will constantly be setting off my car. This whole thing has been confusing and made me feel stupid!

Niall: Dreadful experience. Followed instructions but remote did not pair with my car. The ad says free tech support but after several emails back and forth with the seller they simply said they couldn't help - contact the manufacturer instead. They gave me a link that didn't work, but by this point I am quite fed up and have a defective item.

Eggbert: After a long time, it did get intermittent... loss of battery contact, which I think I can fix. However, I suspect that's just the one I got and others will be fine.

Amazon Customer: Considering the ridiculous amount Toyota wanted ($300.00(fob) + $100.00(programming charge)) this thing works fantastic. I was amused at the instructions requiring the programming, my kids wished me well and in less than 5 minutes it was done.

Panajuco: Got it fast and programming was simple. The trunk button got stuck the first time I used it but I was able to open it up and fix it. So far so good since.
