Some Guy: I've bought these multiple times and will likely buy again because I need something to protect the cheap Ford fob. These covers aren't too difficult to get on the fob, but over time they will degrade. Like a lot of rubber products they will eventually take on kind of a slick feeling. At that point, they'll probably tear when you attempt to remove them to change the fob battery. My last pair lasted about 2 years. I still like them, but it would be nice to find a more robust alternative.

Didn’t take me much to get my fob in as claimed by others and once in, it really felt like new. I figured it might not be much of a thang if thinner than this but all in all, I struck gold in this!

Chris Kostecki: I bought this to protect the key/remote. My last remote got mashed up pretty bad with repeated drops. This case, I’m confident, will protect the remote/key well.
It’s a perfect fit and adds less to the bulk than I expected, while still being thick enough to protect.
It’s a little tough to get on, took me about 10 min, but once it’s on it’s great.
Only thing I don’t like about it is that it covers the colour coded LED on the front. I wish it had a panel to see that. That tells you if you successfully started, locked, opened etc the vehicle and now I can’t see that. A clear case or a window for the light would have made this 5 stars.
If you need to protect your expensive keys, I’d definitely recommend.
