You can tell when you do the process properly the vehicle let you know that it is open to receiving a signal from a fob, I don’t know whether it’s dead batteries or what but I’m sending them back. And I’m not happy

Mortimer: My Toyota Keyless Car Fob had been nonfunctional for about a year. Application of contact cleaner to the push switches would provide a fix for about 3 days, but that became more than a nuisance. Assuming that only an expensive replacement from Toyota was the only way out, if even available, I resigned myself to the inconvenience of not being able to open the vehicle (or lock it) easily. Then I came across this exactly replacement in a search on Amazon. Fantastic! The reprogramming worked the first time, and the fob has been working great ever since.

jack legrand: So....I read the reviews on these Fobs and saw that some people where have having problems programming them. When I first read the instructions at RemoteRemote.com, I thought that I was the punch-line to a very funny practical joke. To put your Toyota into programming mode you have to go through a precise process of inserting and removing your key, opening and closing your driver door, turning your key on-off, closing and opening your door again...etc. I kept checking my mirrors to see if anyone was watching this while I was programming my fobs in the gym parking lot! ...lol Well... my first three attempts failed.... the door locks did not toggle automatically to signify that the truck was in programming mode. THEN....I realized that I was a duplicated key....not the original key with the Toyota logo. Soooo.... I dug into my bag ...found my original key.....ran through the process and it worked!!! My guess is that the original key has a chip in it that is required to be used for this process. I now have 2 working fobs for less than $20.... truly hilarious and amazing! I would like to get other manufacturer (Toyota) programming sequences ....for example...one YouTube video shows...

K-Man: Got these, and they worked well. The set up is a bit complicated, but that's because of Toyota, not the remote makers. Luckily the instructions were fairly clear. The only 2 issues we've had with them are: a) after 5 months of usage, the ink labels are wearing off a bit, and b) the panic button is a bit more close to the surface than the original, so we've had it go off just from jostling in my pocket against coins or the like. But other than that, we were greatly appreciative to get good replacement remotes quickly and cheaply.

Charles: Perfect replacement for 2007 Toyota Tundra. The printed code on the body matched exactly with my existing, but failing current remote. Note that Tundra's are not able to be manually programed like the other Toyota products (with all of the door closing, key turning, etc.) so I had to call a locksmith to come out, which was still way cheaper than the dealer. It was $90 for him to come to my house and program 2 remotes.
