Kindle Customer: My truck only had one remote, so I didn't want to take a chance of not having a back up. I contacted several places beforehand, to get an estimate of another remote. The cost was mind boggling. I saw these online and for the price, thought I'd give them a shot. Instead of taking them to a car dealership, I called my local locksmith. He came out and in 10 minutes, had both remotes programmed and the mini keys cut for only $75 instead of the big bucks the dealership wanted for just one remote.. Both remotes work just fine. He did mention that if they stop working, to take them to a jewelry shop or local store that sells the small batteries, because the ones that originally come inside the remote, are cheap batteries. Time will tell, but so far, I'm happy.
I would have given this product 5 stars but the possible issue with the batteries is a concern.

Amadeous: I purchased a pare back in 2016 they arrived in a few days much faster than the forcasted delivery range Amazon.ca promissed. I own a 2010 Dodge Journey 4 cylender front wheel drive so I needed to get them programmed by a Chrysler dealer, booked an appointment and when I registered at one of the the reception stations the employee told me that there is a recall on my vehicle for an ignition replacement and that includes 2 brand new original Dodge remote phob entry keys so I ended up returning the clones to Amazon.ca.
Before going to dealer I chcked both if they fit in my car's ignition and they did. I did a drop test of the clones before returning them to Amazon.ca...and here are the results:
Dropped the first fob remote entry key from my chest height to a cement floor (I am 5.7) it disintegrated to 7 separated pieces...wow!!
I attached my house key ring to the the second remote phob entry key and did the drop test 2 times and observed no problem.

gord: Bought two Dec 08, 2016. Had to pay dealer to program them and now 4 months later both have quit working for no apparent reason. Battery fine, won't work.
Can't find anyone on here who wants to replace or credit me for lousy product.

Two Als: Great replacement remote. Chrysler wants over $400 for the same product ( after key cutting and reprogramming) As mentioned by other reviewers I made sure that the FOB actually fits into the keyhole before wasting money on the final setup. Great find at a great price. The seller and Amazon had this order at my doorstep in 3 days. Thanks.
Update 12/29/16. The Dodge dealer was kind enough to charge me only one programming fee for both fobs and they also cut the emergency keys and as an added safety also changed the codes so that whoever finds our lost remote will not be able to start the van. Final Dodge bill was just under $90. I call it "Stupid tax" for loosing my keys in the first place. Amazon came to the rescue on this one. Thanks

Robert: While I was able to get both programmed and they do work. the blank keys that come inside the fob do not properly lock inside. if you were to use the key with a key ring, you would loose the fob quickly and be left with the key on the key ring.

Also the fob is a VERY tight fit in the ignition (feels like I'm going to tear out the entire ignition switch), I may sand the fob down with a light hand

However the price is less then two for one if bought from the dealer. So I do still appreciate them as a back up, as I only keep the fob, the key is a back up of a back up, only needed if the battery dies and the doors are locked.

Andrew J. Davis: DO NOT BUY!!! This is an updated review. Read the original below:

*** Updated review 4/19/2016 ***

Based on the issue with the backs coming off in my earlier review, I returned the original two via Amazon (bought with Prime, so easy return) and ordered another pair. The new ones paired right up just like the original two had done. This is the only good thing about them. Within 2 days, the back of one of them again came off. It simply would not stay on. We would have lost it except that when the back is off the battery does not make contact, so the remote doesn't work... so when it didn't work we looked around and found the back. It appears the two small tabs on each side where the backs clip are simply too thin and break off. I ended up having to super-glue the back on which is going to make changing the battery in the future a real challenge. Based on having had two pairs of these and three of them having the broken backs, I would recommend buying them from a different company. In the end, I super-glued the backs of both of the keyfobs as I doubt Amazon will let me return them again... and even if I do... I'm likely to just get another set with...

Amazon Customer: I could use my original keys to start my car, but the remote features did not work. I called the local dealership for help. To replace both keys and have them programmed would have cost $360. I found these on Amazon, read the reviews, and decided to give it a shot. I received the keys in a couple days. They came with instructions and because my two original keys could start my car I was able to program them myself. It literally took 2 minutes and I had my new keys programmed. I swapped out the uncut valet keys from the new set with my original valet keys and now I have two working key fobs. Obviously I have not had them long so I can't comment on whether or not they will last, but am very pleased with the purchase in terms of price and ease to program.

Jeff C.: I figured for the price, it was worth a shot since the dealership wanted $160 for a single remote and then $54 for programming. I received them quickly and immediately made an appointment to get them programmed (at the dealership). After about 15 minutes, the guy came back with my two, shiny, newly-programmed remotes. The worked flawlessly and I was only charged a single programming charge.

On a side note, don't forget to ask them to cut the key for you. I initially forgot, but walked back in and talked to the guy that programmed them. He took me to the parts department and the guy cut them for me within a few minutes. Luckily, we were fans of the same NHL team, so there was no charge.

Dealership:
Remotes - $160 ea
Programming - $54 ea
Key Cutting - Didn't even ask

Amazon Purchase:
Remotes: $28 (for two)
Programming: $54 (for two)
Key Cutting: $0 (for two)

Overall, a win-win for me. Will they stand the test of time? Who knows. Even if I have to replace them every year, it'll take a lot of these remotes to ever come close to what the dealer wanted for them.
