AMZ: I originally requested a return because the description did not state I would need an automotive locksmith to program the remote for a Pontiac G6 vehicle; I never received an answer. A month and 4 days later I had an auto locksmith program the remote. He used his equipment to program the remote but was unable to program it and said the remote would not program. Since this is 4 days over a month since purchase, I can no longer return the remote and have to give the Pontiac G6 a bad rating of 1.

Amazon Customer: Great product. Looks and works good . Easy to program if you have the proper scan tool . Not a typical DIY . So be aware .

very fun game that makes you think a little bit: Got my car n previous owners fob didn't work and didn't want to pay dealership prices. So I got on amazon n started searching with the replaceable part number for my 2006 Pontiac g6. Found this 1 and bought it in pink n blue. Shipping was very quick . couldn't program myself but had a friend that had a programmer that he got when he got a replacement fob for his pontiac and it fit in my port and we just turned the key all the way forward and shut the door and held the unlock n lock key down n it programmed in about 30 seconds.was hesitant at first but would definitely buy again without hesitation. Very happy and satisfied with the product.
