I paid 25$ on Amazon and 65 to be program by auto locksmith and all has gone in loss.
I won't recommend this to anyone else.
Is seller going to refund all the amount I spent so far?

I had to take the car to the dealership to have it programmed and they didn't charge me so that's a plus. Works great, no complaints.

I’m a chevy dealer tech. I have access to all the equipment and service info. This key fob seems to operate but is not compatible with either of the RKE systems available on 2001 Chevy Malibu. I used the case and discarded the internals so I was at least able to use something.

This is a great option. We bought two to replace the fobs for a used car purchase. They came very quickly and have performed the way described. Purchasing from Amazon saved us a lot of money. Make sure to put your vehicle specs in so you will be sure to get the correct ones to fit your car. We used an auto locksmith instead of taking to a dealer. Great purchase.

The outer case of my keyless fob developed some small breaks that would admit dust and water into the guts and the pictures had worn off the buttons. I found a complete replacement fob that would require me to go to a GM dealer and pay for it to be programmed for my car. Since the circuit board inside the old fob was still good, I replaced just the buttons and outer case, retaining the old circuit board inside. Works great, except that in a matter of some weeks, the symbols have already nearly worn off. So, you win some, and others are a draw.
