for most of these gm's you need the re programmer to talk to car. NO OTHER METHOD TO REPROGRAM unless to take to a shop and spend stooopid money for a 2 min process. also batteries that came with mine were dead

This is the exact Fob I acquired when I bought my Soltice Fox in 2007. Amazing of price here on Amazon vs dealership. I live in a very small town, I used this husband and wife business for lock changing on home we purchased two years ago. I was becoming desperate and prayed they would have that tech 2 computer hook up. I had my doubt, but decided to call and see if they could program it. It’s the only way I can get my convertible top up and down. The gentleman said ohhhhh, I don’t do that,,,,,,,but my wife can help you. Can you be here in 15 minutes. I’m 5 minutes away….as I waited in the little office work area, I saw the lady pick up a metal/fiberglass case…I kept my fingers crossed that’s the Tech 2…..lol. Lo and behold it was…..10 minutes later it was completed. Normally it’s $40.00 to have it programmed. The lady said since I brought my own fob it would be $30.00. I handed her $40.00 and reminded her what a dealership would have stuck me with for a bill. Got to love living ;g in a very small town where people are honest in their dealings with their customers.
