Bought this last year. Used it for a few months. Then unplugged over the winter. Turned it on and it lights up. After a few weeks I check and the fan is dead.
Another one I had did not last a year either. Cheaply made.

No instructions came with the Mosquito Killer so I put the white paper disc under the unit. I left it on during prime mosquito time from late afternoon to night and no mosquitos. The next two + days I left it on all the time. No mosquitos despite being bitten numerous times and listening to them buzz around. I have purchased other mosquito killers that actually do work!

It was doing well, catching insects and two mosquitoes; however, I have been bitten more than 10 times, in the neck, arms, elbows, thighs, legs and feet- on all exposed areas by mosquitoes for about two weeks. It was not until about three days ago when I found out that the fan stopped running but the blue light was still on giving me the false impression that It was still working like before. I know electronics. I found out that the type 130 motor is not running and a replacement cost somewhere between $1–9 online; the cheap one may be quite noisy or not enough to power the fan before burning out. In the meanwhile, the Itching Is bothering me as I am writing this Review.
