Mark Montgomery: does the job , but our window frame are 1/4 " wider than the insert , and it falls forward that 1/4 " from the weight of the hose , leaving a slight gap.... and being we live in Canada , have to be able to remove it for winter we did not use the supplied 2 sided tape.

JosephineJosephine: I needed the extra window attachments because my window is 57 inches tall. This set is perfect. It has everything included, the hose and adapters and window stripping to seal edges from air leaking out. Looks nice too and better than using cardboard.

Alexandra Reynoso: The hose felt sturdy and the exhaust part was good quality. The window inserts would not stay up when I put them in the window but eventually I got them to stay tight. I did not keep it thought because it wasn’t the right size for my ac.

Carla: I bought this for my LG portable air conditioner. The window assembly works fine with basic newer sliding up windows.

If you don’t have a PVC air connecting hose, the one that hooks inside, be sure to get one of those! I found mine on EBAy. The unit gets hot which means tape will starts to loosen and that becomes a mess!

Other than that, all the material this came with is good quality.

Tony: I bought this for my LG portable ac unit. The ac unit is 8 years old and this fits. Plenty of pieces to use for a perfect fit on almost any normal window size.
Installation was fairly easy (as easy as can be expected) you may need a few additional items (i.e. tape or foam) , to ensure a good seal around the window. This will depend on your situation.
For me, I didn't need any extra supplies, however, I like using duct tape around the window for an added layer of protection.

Edward J. Skirvin: You get what you buy with this purchase. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it would be nice for there to be a connector on each end, rather than just "screwing" the hose into an endpoint. If you fix this somewhere, you'll have to remove the whole thing due to no quick disconnect feature.

Johanna: I have a Frigidaire portable air conditioner that needed a new hose. I bought this kit and the quality is way better than the original Frigidaire one! The plastic is very thick and sturdy, the hose itself is really heavy duty, not flimsy like the original. The panels finally fit my window properly, the original ones were too short and too wobbly/flimsy, plus they didn't fit the frame properly, it was awkward trying to put them in. The part where the hose attaches to the panels is so much better, the way the connector clicks into place. Solid and no gaps. The panels are easily adjusted with the included screws. The panels are more narrow than the old ones, and sturdier and fit better, all this is important because we were able to leave the ac in during recent high winds. Due to our location and size of the window we use a portable ac to be able to close the window when it gets really windy, the old one was horrible at keeping out the wind. This one is awesome!
