Kenwood KFC-PS6996EX 6x9" 5-Way 700W Car Audio Speakers for Maximum Performance

A customer: My ears are ringing and i have then hooked to a pioneer gm 874, seen another review say they didnt have as much bass the magnet on them is huge like tripple my 65w rockford fosgates these replaced, if your only feeding them the 12w that your head unit can put out there just fighting that magnet, the main woofer isnt going to make much bass if it cant overcome its own motor, i honestly would have got lower rated ones closer to my amps output but they do fill nicely even with only 100w. They have balanced out my 1300 skar evl subwoofer. Just dont try and install 700w peak speakers without an amplifer if you want them to sound good. The tweeters may fire but you wont get the bass you can from them.

elcz28: These sound great and are under rated for power handling.i have them @ 4/2 ohm with about 125 watts rms with crossover settings of course but they see long high volume regularly and still sound great.

Jake the Snake: They sounded good until I hooked up a 1000 w amp, and turned the radio all the way up to def and now the speakers do play, but they squeal to. That's not fair. 2 speakers divided by 1000 k amp is 500 watts a piece. Well that's with 200 watts left per speaker.

Christy Bryant: I don't know a lot about speakers but i had a busted speaker and now the sound is better. Although I though I was buying 4 speakers and there were only 2. But sound quality is good.
