The Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum Lift-Up Carpet Cleaner is a top-of-the-line vacuum cleaner that offers two-motor power suction and a HEPA filter for maximum efficiency. It also comes with a 3-in-1 combination tool and HandiMate for floor, pet hair, and green. Rated as one of the best Upright Vacuums based on customer support, build quality, effectiveness, and overall performance, this vacuum cleaner is sure to make your cleaning experience hassle-free.Cody Debruyn: Had for a couple of weeks now, work great so far. I find it light and easy to move around. Like that it detaches from the base for east cleaning under and on top of things.

Amazon Customer: It's small which is helpful for storage. The head swivels so it's easy to maneauvre although it takes while to learn how to "steer" it. Suction seems adequate. Price was OK. I'll keep it.

Amazon Customer: I have owned several hepa filter vacuums over the years and this is the very best one. It has great suction and it spins exactly where you need it to go. The light is so helpful, I really missed that on my other vacuums. I love how easy it detaches in order to do small areas. I would buy this again in a minute and the price is the best part. I have spent hundreds more and have not 10 out of 10been as pleased as I am with this one. If you have broadloom and allergies or don't want dust flying in the area when you clean, then buy this machine. 10 out of 10!

Cheryl (Ontario Canada): I bought this vacuum strictly because of the brand (Kenmore) I had a Sears Kenmore Whispertone vac and it was, by far, the best vacuum I've ever owned. Never had one since that lived up to it. Had many Kenmore products, and always satisfied with them. My new vac just arrived May 5th, so keep in mind, I've only used it a couple of times. (have a cat, have to vac every day) I was very impressed by how light it is, when you separate it from the actual body frame. Carrying it around was a breeze. The light on it is nice. I'm also impressed by the extremally long power cord. Longest cord I've had on a vac. I read some people thought it was loud, the level of it operation doesn't bother me, what does, is the extremally high pitched noise that it has. I don't know if it's supposed to sound like that, but its so high, that running it to long, would seriously give me a headache. As of right now, its the only reason why I'm not happy with it. Suction power is okay, it did my carpets in the rooms fine, but it did not clear off my matts in front of my doors, they are thinner than my carpets, but are a different texture, and the cat hair sticks to them more. And after going over and over it, I...

CmkcCmkc: I originally purchased a Miele C1 Turbo Team, which was great, but I primarily have a rug and hard floor. The suction was so strong it was too difficult to maneuver to the turbo brush across the rug. So I returned it.
I was looking for another good bagged vacuum, the problem was most companies these days only produce bagless variants. Enter Kenmore. They had both Canister Models and Uprights available for much lower cost than the Miele. Once I discovered this Vacuum and did some research on it, I realized it was not only one of the most versatile AND powerful vacuums out there, it has HEPA filtration and BAGS. No dealing with dust bins or filters. I appreciate that the unit pulls apart into a canister like mode for easy transport.
The best part is it's roughly half the price of Kenmore Canisters and features larger bags.
Cleaning Performance:
This thing ROCKS. It isn't necessarily the quietest vacuum out there, but I will trade that for the suction this thing brings to the table. I can tell the suction is strong enough to lift my rug, but due to the weight of the vacuum itself and the large wheels, this thing rolls anywhere I need it to. When attaching...

J.R.: This review is being written after test driving this in my house one time. I will update later. Firstly, My house is 3,000 sq ft. I have 2 German Shepherds. House was very overdue for vacuuming. I have: carpet, area rugs, tile, hardwood, vinyl, shag carpetting (not tested on this yet) and believe it or not- astroturf/indoor outdoor carpet.
I also have an ORECK XL Commercial, which I adore. It is a BEAST. https://www.amazon.ca/Oreck-Commercial-2100RHS-8-Pound-Upright/dp/B001NDNV18/ref=sr_1_12?crid=1M28PM65BURKY&keywords=oreck+XL&qid=1659724137&sprefix=oreck+xl%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-12
The Kenmore Intuition was purchased to help primarily with large, carpetted rooms. The Oreck is 4 years old and getting hard to push on those surfaces (likely needs some maintenance).
I found this Kenmore fine to push in large, carpetted rooms. I typically DESPISE swivelling activity on a vacuum, and was expecting to hate this. Turns out, super easy to steer this and back and forth etc in large carpetted rooms. I will say I feel like the oreck has better suction on those surfaces.
This vacuum is fine for large carpetted rooms but will not blow your mind there....

KJAGKJAG: 12/23/2021 Update: The hose in the base split only weeks after my original 5 star review. I notice a few others have also experienced the same issue. It appears this part is under-designed for the normal stresses encountered during vacuuming. Below is my original review.
Traditionally, there are notable differences between bulky bagged uprights, and messy bagless uprights. This Kenmore vac incorporates desirable features found in both, while eliminating some of their key deficiencies. It seems designed by people who actually vacuum--and read reviews. If the rating system allowed, we would rate this 4.5 out of 5.
The vac has a base (floor nozzle, brushroller, and lights) that easily detaches to function as a powerful, relatively lightweight portable vac. It also has practical features other uprights at this price point (and higher) do not, and best meets our criteria for design, build quality, versatility, cleaning, and price—although it’s not for everyone (read on). Consumer Reports lists this vac as a “Best Buy.” We have used 2 of these vacs (two properties) over the past couple years w/o issue.
CONS: 1) If you have high-pile carpet, you may want a...

Sally M.: I bought my first Intuition a few years ago. And LOVED it. It was the lift-away canister and we really put it to work on the three floors of our home.
When my older bagless pooped out a year ago, the one we keep in the basement for the family room and basement bedrooms, I decided to buy another Inuition.
In retrospect, I wish I had bought another lift-away canister version, just for the convenience of it. It's not a big deal, though. We have two sets of stairs and take on the cleaning all at once.
I love that it's not bagless (hate bagless).
I love that I can go from hardwood floor to carpet.
I love the handle lifts out to allow for using the upholstery tools. We used it to clean the ceiling fan blades and that was nice.
I also like the adjustable suction lever on the top of the handle. Sometimes, you want less suction and this lets me do that.
I love this vacuum and have bought four of them now - two for my house and two as gifts for my sons.
