Kevin: This is a great tool for the price. I'm just a simple home owner who needed this tool to test power outlets for room home improvements. For someone like me that will only use this tool a handful of times throughout the year it's perfect, but I would not recommend this tool for a professional who would use on a regular basis.. if that's the case then go more name brand and better quality...

B. Carnahan: This is exactly what I needed to discover that one string of lights on my Christmas tree could not be fixed and simply needed to be replaced. After removing the bad string of lights and replacing it with a new string, my tree is once again fully lit and beautiful.

lrl: I recently lost a good quality, pricey, name brand, voltage tester to a leaky battery.
So I thought I would give this tester a try.
So far it seems to do the job just as good as the name brand unit. Keep in mind I've only had it for about a week. One quick side note. It only cost about 1/4 of the cost of the name brand unit.
So it was definitely worth a try and so far I'm happy with my purchase.
